We are a bed & breakfast dedicated to sustainable living. What does that mean? Well, our project is just beginning, but our goal is to provide a comfortable, beautiful space for our guests while employing practices that minimize our footprint on the land. We grow as much of our own food as possible using organic practices, and focus on acquiring what else we need responsibly. To this end, we enthusiastically support our local food system and energy alternatives – the solar panels went in this year!

Just 90 miles north of New York City, Woodstock is a dynamic town and the perfect base from which to explore the Catskill Mountains and Hudson Valley region. TreeGap offers both a lovely, private country setting as well as proximity to area attractions. We are 1.5 miles from town, and steps from Byrdcliffe Art Colony, which offers theatre, dance, and studio tours throughout the season. Just up the mountain is the KTD Buddhist monastery, and hiking’s right out the door. Or we’ll pack you a picnic lunch and send you off to nearby waterfalls for a swim. But then, with our sixteen acres of gardens, woods, and meadows, you may never leave your private porch...
