Good location with some neighborhood qualms.

Pros: The host was always responsive by app/email. The layout of the loft was very good.

Cons: Rough neighborhood. But glad D& D next door, and very close to the M. Twain Museum House. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Pros: The place is very cozy and quiet. It was the first time for my family to visit US and this was our first stop. They really love the place and enjoyed our time a lot.

Overall a great rental at an affordable price.

Pros: The hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions we had or any help that we needed. The apartment itself was comfortable for 5 people and it was great that they had 2 beds in the main bedroom. And 2 bathrooms was a great bonus as well.

Cons: These are all minor - and did not impact our stay - but would be good to know before you book. the location in Hartford is right near historic sites (Mark Twain House, Harriot Beecher Stowe house) which was great. But, it is also in a location near a hospital so lots of sirens, and some police activity outside. We did not feel unsafe, but it was loud and you should be aware and be careful. Also - if you have more than one car, it is hard to park the other car. Finally - the entry way and stairs up to the apartment (3rd floor) could use updating.

I enjoyed the unit for the time I was there and loved the rehab job that was done.

Pros: Great value, very clean and well dressed. I accidentally left something of value in the unit after check out and the owners were amazingly attentive and helped me with retrieving my items. So grateful.

Cons: I was not a fan of the location and the noise outside was distracting for sleep.
