Nice Experience in Mamaroneck - NY

Pros: Well located house for our purpose which was visiting our familiy in Rye. Very nice and quite neighbourhood, a block away from the sea. Clean and well prepared house with two confortable sleeping rooms with 4 excelents beds. Bath and kitchen warmly and fully equiped, also with snacks, water and coffe. The heating was 100 % functionally. Good parking place at the street. Both Menachem and Marlen were always very willing to help us and make us feel comfortable.We were happy with the experience and we would repeat it.

Insgesamt sehr schön, im eiskalten Winter vielleicht ein bisschen zu kalt.

Pros: Super war das wintergartenähnliche Wohnzimmer, es ist sehr schön hell. Gut war auch die Küche mit allem,was ein amerikanischer Haushalt so vorhält. Die Dusche war ein Lichtblick mit immer sehr schön heißem Wasser!

Cons: Wir hatten das Pech, spät abends anzukommen, bei Temperaturen von -14 °C. Leider habe ich erst nach gut einer Woche den Thermostat gefunden, um die Innentemperatur anzuheben. Schade ist auch, dass es kein King – oder Queensize Bett gibt. Die Fotos bei Booking COM konnte man da ein bisschen fehlinterpretieren. Insgesamt fanden wir den Aufenthalt dort sehr unterkühlt. Wir haben das hintere Zimmer mit den beiden wohl etwas breiteren Betten nicht verwendet, da es dort immer zu kalt war. Das „Bad“ besteht aus einem Waschbecken in der Toilette. Dazu allerdings eine super schöne Dusche auf der anderen Seite des Flures.
