The Stables

Pros: Absolutely loved the town of Kingston, and the repurposed horse stables were an incredibly charming and cozy place to come back to after a night out of good food and fun times. Angelo was a delightful host and made sure we were comfortable, and graciously supplied with wine and cookies! Truly grateful to have stayed here during my anniversary, and for the price it was a total steal.

Cons: Not a thing.

Will be back!

Pros: Loved the stable conversion and that the theme just totally surrounded the place. Super cool!

Cons: Nothing, honestly. The bathroom is a tad smaller than I’d prefer but didn’t negatively impact our stay.

A perfect retreat

Pros: The Stables at the Carriage House could not be more beautiful. Unique, impeccably decorated and comfortable. Angelo & Tony were the perfect hosts. They were welcoming, gracious and provided a list of great things to do and restaurants that were phenomenal. We took in Woodstock, saw a show at Levon Helm studio and skied at Hunter mountain. A perfect getaway in a perfect location. Look forward to returning!

Cons: I couldnt have a carriage house of my own

Pros: Host reached out to me via text to assure me place was ready for me. Plus while on a quick walk of neighborhood I was greeted by my host who lives on property with a big welcome. Made me feel like a superstar!!!

Beautifully decorated horse themed large apartment with full kitchen, and comfortable bath.

Owners are the best and always available but not intruding. Very convenient location. Near both the Hudson River waterfront area and hip uptown shopping district with lots of restaurants. Great place to stay for a weekend!

Cons: That we had to leave!

Pros: This is one of thr most beautiful and imaginative places we've ever stayed! Truly idyllic and serene.

Appartement et non maison

Pros: Kingston est une ville charmante et typique, belles ballades à faire le long et sur la rivière Hudson. L’appartement The Stables offre un lit confortable, une décoration originale qui nous a fait remonter dans le passé. Nous avons été accueillis avec cookies et une bouteille de vin ce qui était très agréable. La cuisine était bien équipée. Le quartier tranquille.

Cons: The Stables n’est pas une maison mais l’appartement du rez-de-chaussée d’une maison qui en offre 2. Chacun des 2 appartements à une terrasse extérieure avec table et chaises et un parasol. The Stabbles à aussi 2 fauteuils Adirondack et une table basse. Les 2 appartements sont face à la maison des propriétaires dans un jardin bien entretenu, chaque appartement à une place de parking devant la terrasse de l’appartement The loft. L’insonorisation entre les deux n’est pas parfaite , nous entendions la personne marcher, monter les escaliers, la télévision en sourdine mais elle était discrète. L’appartement est un peu sombre mais il y a beaucoup de lampes.

A sensory delight filled with beauty and comfort.

Pros: This was the most unique and beautifully decorated space we have rented. The attention to detail was extraordinary. The host/owner of the property was kind and generous. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation and would love to stay again.

Great place to stay. Would come back again if in area.

Pros: A amazing good size rooms, great job of converting stable to living room, amazing decor selection, good library, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable living area and dining area, indoor and outdoor patios, two close parking spots, good wifi, owner very attentive and very polite. We stayed two nights and even rented the Loft with the Stables.

Cons: The Stables had a slight musty smell, air conditioner helped, but did not bother my wife with allergies. Slightly outside of town on dead end road.
