A beautiful hotel combining new and old, great views, luxurious facilities.

Pros: A luxurious hotel in a charming location, with a great view, a beautiful shower, comfortable beds, and a feeling of old and new together.

Cons: The booking on Booking.com somehow required two rooms for two people, which was confusing and required me to book two rooms and then cancel one.

Beautiful quiet getaway

Pros: Stunning place, like walking into the grounds of Downton Abbey! A little slice of heaven overlooking the river ✨️

Cons: The lengthy wait at the restaurant, mattresses a little soft for my liking and mix up with billing

This was our second visit and we would stay there again.

Pros: Great location. Excellent staff. Fundamentally nice facilities.

Cons: The pool area was dirty and the worn. HOWEVER, I suspect this might be the responsibility of the condo association who seems to manage the shared pool. Also, the continued result of the lightening strike and loss the the AC, even with substitute window AC units, is an inconvenience. An explanation about the window AC units at check-in would have been appropriate.

Beautiful relaxing stay. Staff, spa, facilities, view all amazing!

Pros: Hotel was very lovely, so modern and fresh. Room was very comfortable and great view of the river

Cons: Only tiny con about the hotel was we checked in when we arrived just after 11am which was awesome that our room was ready early but when we got to the room it had not been cleaned - luckily there was some lovely cleaning staff on our floor at the time and they had the room cleaned within 15 minutes.

Spa day mini-vacation just an hour from NYC

Pros: Beautiful building in a beautiful location, excellent spa treatments, good restaurant - and even an outdoor pool. And so easily accessible by train. I really loved my stay!

Pros: Location was atop a hill overlooking Hudson River to the west- perfect sunset views. Short, wooded hiking trail adjoining property. Great dinner at Apropos, on site restaurant.

Cons: Train goes through town of Peekskill below and blows horn during the night.

Wonderful stay for Valentine’s Day.

Pros: The property is beautiful. The staff keeps it exceptionally clean. Everyone was kind and accommodating.

Cons: My only complaint has nothing to do with the actual property, but with NY Transit. Every time the train comes through the trains honk (all of hours of the day and night 😭😭). I was awakened multiple times at night, making it hard for a good nights sleep. I’m sure those who live and work in the area don’t even hear it anymore because they are used to it. But I suggest visitors bring ear plugs if they are light sleepers,

Excellent romantics getaway.

Pros: Room was large, modern and clean. Apropos, the restaurant at the hotel was excellent and a gem.. It’s worth the trip itself.

Cons: The bathroom fixtures were top quality but water pressure was low.

Pros: The Abbey Inn was really wonderful. The location can't be beat, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were beautiful. The room was pristine and very clean and modern. It was quiet and the temperature was perfect. We did not want to leave. I felt like a princess with the lovely toiletries and robes which were supplied. The on-site restaurant was a real treat, too. We will be back.
