Deck View of Hudson River & Mt Beacon / Boho Suite

Idyllic home away from home with a view to the Hudson River.

Pros: It was beautifully decorated and superbly clean. The rooms were very spacious and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone. We had the best fun and felt right at home. The coffee was terrific and with a full size refrigerator and supermarket nearby it was perfect for weary travellers to cook their own food. A great benefit is it is walkable to the North Plank Road Tavern (the perfect place for amazing cocktails and brilliant food). I recommend that everyone that stays check out that amazing historic tavern and talk to the owner about it's history. Fascinating. https://www.northplankroadtavern.com/

Cons: There was a tiny mix up with the door code but the host was easily contactable by phone and we didn't have to wait long. It did not make me recommend our transactions anything but five star. The host was lovely and certainly knows how to prepare a comfortable stay for their guests.

Charming Cottage on the Hudson in historic Newburgh

Hübsche Wohnung mit ausgezeichnetem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage bedingt ein Auto.

Pros: Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe und Kreativität eingerichtet, z.B. Vorhänge, Kissen, Bettwäsche sind farblich und thematisch aufeinander abgestimmt, alles wirklich sehr hübsch gemacht und top sauber. Die Zimmer sind grösser als erwartet gewesen und die Küche sehr gut eingerichtet. Gutes Info-Material lag auf dem Clubtisch bereit für Ausflüge, Shopping und Restaurants. Gut war auch, dass immer ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus zur Verfügung war.

Cons: Die Terrasse könnte etwas einladender gestaltet sein, v.a. würde ich ein paar höhere Pflanzen dort positionieren, die den Blick auf das schäbige Nachbarhaus mit einer Terrasse voller Müll verdecken. Es war auch sehr laut (Verkehrslärm) auf der Terrasse, weil weiter unten die Hauptstrasse ist. Die Rasenfläche mit Bäumen wäre eigentlich schön, aber es hat keine Sitzbank, sodass man diese Fläche eigentlich nicht nutzen kann, wenn man sich draussen aufhalten will. Im Übrigen raten wir dringend davon ab, den Downing Park in Newburgh aufzusuchen, da dort Drogensüchtige verkehren und wir eine unangenehme Situation erlebten...Sehr schön ist hingegen der Long Dock Park in Beacon auf der anderen Seite des Hudson River und natürlich die Main Street in Beacon :-)

Pros: The location was perfect, it was styled very nicely and very clean. I appreciated that all that many items one might need, even things like foil or plastic wrap, were in the suite. The beds very comfy, as was the bedding.

Cons: the water temperature was such that water got very very hot, very quickly

Great stay in the Hudson valley

Pros: Comfortable apartment with well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Host was attentive and before and during the stay.

Cons: The location is on a busy street so there was continuous car noise except late at night

We would stay again. Hosts were very responsive.

Pros: The cleanest AirB&B we ever stayed in and so many little extras!!

Cons: Location with the river view was lovely, but neighborhood was less appeal.
