Lovely place in the middle of nowhere. They get everything RIGHT! Clean, fast internet, great food

Pros: Nice clean room. Cheerful, whimsical property. Restaurant dinner excellent. Better than the big city! Super fast internet for such a remote location! Nice thick towels. Quality linen. Bed did not sqeak. Personal a/c in my own room was nice.

Cons: Could have had more selection of pastry at self serve continental breakfast. Muffins only was a bit meager. How about true pastry, real croissants....

Lovely short stay.

Pros: The room (room 4) was very clean and cute, the bed is small but comfortable and the temperature was comfortable, too. If you had a chance, try the food at the tavern: it's amazing! We met the lad owner, and she was extremely kind, a pleasure to meet, but honestly all the staff was very friendly. The inn is just very close to a lake and nice forest, although we were there for too short to take advantage of it. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely. We loved it and would like to come back again.

Cons: A desk in the room would have been useful. More options for breakfast. Because we were just above the tavern, it was a bit noisy, but nothing too terrible.

A great Inn in a lovely part of New York.

Pros: The owners, David and Joan, were great. They were very friendly and extremely willing to help you in any way they could. A big plus was a restaurant in the Inn with an excellent chef, kitchen staff and table staff. My wife and I had such an enjoyable 6 day stay.

Pros: Breakfast was basic: coffee, muffins and yogurt. That works for me. The location was in the Catsgill mountains in a rural area,perfect for our needs

Enjoyable stay at a base conveniently located in area with good hiking opportunities.

Pros: Exceptionally gracious host, best bathroom and shower I've experienced at a B&B, relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere of the dining room, the outdoor pizza from a wood-fired oven.

Cons: Didn't realize that the room had sloping ceilings that effectively limited the walking space in the bedroom. Knocked head of my 6 foot frame several times. Don't remember if that was disclosed in the room descriptions but it definitely should be. Had a chance to examine all the other rooms and none of the others had the sloped ceiling. Next time I'll reserve a different room.

Wonderful place!

Pros: Me and my husband stayed for one night and it was fabulous! Room and bathroom are exceptionally clean and comfortable, bed was super cozy. We had everything necessary in our big room.
