Lovely and cozy , love it !

Pros: What a lovely place , I wish I knew the place earlier so I can stay longer . Room is super clean and cozy , whirlpool is my daughter’s favorite . Stuffs are very friendly . Close to hunter mountain and few restaurants around , easy for ski trip. Definitely will be back .

A wonderful experience with mini flaws

Pros: A classic, unique hotel and a place to experience as much as stay at. There are few independent places left like this and we were very well looked after. This family run hotel is a great charismatic find with inventive decor and filmic lounge, chess set at the ready. The bed was comfortable and an upgrade for more space nicely given. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Windham.

Cons: There is a slight sense of overrating. The lovely inventive breakfast had flaws, the advice and directions were not as up to the insistetent confidence with which they were delivered. The value for money was OK, but not astonshing. The room upgrade we were told on checkout, had not been charged for, almost as if we had requested it when the original room was fine.

Charming location, property and staff

Pros: Beautiful property, charming rooms, warm services, excellent breakfast experience.

Cons: Beds were very soft and hard to sleep all night in.

Superb location. We booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3.

Pros: The location is superb. The grounds have thoughtfully placed seating. The complimentary tea and coffee is great. The room was attractive and the bed very comfortable. The owner told us how to behave if we came across a bear when we were out walking.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't included in the room price. We stayed at 4 places in Catskill area, the other places included breakfast in the room price.

Pros: Very clean, beautiful room. Loved the cafe area and coffee. Grounds, very nice, loved the firepits. Staff and amenities, great.

Cons: Only complaint would be the guests on our floor, stomping up and down the stairs early morning.

Beautiful, friendly, worth the trip.

Pros: Large comfortable room, clean, beautiful grounds, excellent gourmet breakfast, friendly and very helpful owners and staff, hundreds of DVDs to choose from. fireplace warmed up the room when the temps outside went down to the upper 20s F.

Cons: Needed steps to get up onto the four poster bed.... but didnt know they were available until checking out.
