Upstate New York Vacation Rental Near Cooperstown!

Pros: My husband and I stayed 3 nights for our anniversary. We wanted to visit Cooperstown and the surrounding area (it was off season so things were pretty quiet). The rental was clean, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a smart TV in the living room, and wifi available. Our only wish was more water pressure in the shower. The farm was a really unique setting with cows, sheep, chickens, goats and cats and dogs right outside your door. We were provided a tour by the owner's young son who did a great job showing us around. The owners were responsive, friendly and not intrusive. It was a great experience! It would be great for families with kids as well. We really liked the farm stand, where we purchased some local goodies. 🙂

We loved staying at this property. The host family is very helpful and provide a clean, comfy stay.

Pros: We liked that the property was centrally located to the area we wanted to visit. The furniture in the rental was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. There was a farm store on site where we were able to pick up fresh eggs, milk, meat and even ice cream.

Cons: The rental unit is an older dwelling and a few things are showing some wear. It is located on an active farm, so renters need to be aware that there could be mud, animals and insects around the outside of the unit.

Pros: Your get to wake up to farm animals. Also the staff was really nice.

Cons: Nothing really just the bathroom needs an update but I know it just an old home so not really upset.

Enjoyable - nice getaway from the city life.

Pros: Loved the property, the animals and fresh air. Access to entertinment - netflix & hulu. Owners were nice. Spacious area - enough room for a family.

Cons: Wish there was an iron. It can become a little chilly in the morning and evening - for those people who usually feel cold.

Comfortable , scenic guest house at farm created a great value for a weekend at Glimmerglass for our family.

Pros: Location for Glimmerglass festival was fantastic. We loved being in a working farm. Having a farm stand with meats, eggs, and especially ice cream all with 100 yards of door was the best! Pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds are. Kitchen had everything we need. We love the big welcome the dogs provided every time we were outside.

Cons: Some of the finishes are a little worn like the countertops and tub. We didn’t mind because the space was clean and fully functional. It was a good value.
