Pros: Cozy, well-maintained home with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here. The town is a charming mountain community, and a visit to nearby Woodstock made the trip even more special. Would happily return!

I would love to come back in the winter to enjoy a good book, the fireplace and the serenity.

Pros: The schoolhouse was absolutely beautiful. Everything you needed was supplied. The beds were comfortable and the couch was inviting for a nap.

Pros: This facility was by far the BEST part of the trip! A lovely place in a quiet area, just outside Kingston, Rhinebeck, High Falls and New Paltz. The host was attentive, providing us with all the info we needed to check in/ out. The amenities & decor were thoughtfully done to address our every need. Fresh fruit & flowers made us smile!! Would highly recommend to all!!

Cons: It was about ~2 miles to walk into the little village for a meal - we were only staying one night, so hadn't brought groceries. That's the flip side of quiet and we knew ahead of time. But see above re the heat. So we weren't going to do that. We were actually able to get an Uber to take us to New Paltz for ~$40. And, more importantly, one to bring us back. So what could have been a negative was actually a positive - there are lots of really great options for dinner. And most people will be arriving by car. You will just need a designated driver. Or, you can Uber.

Beautiful property. Excellent stay.

Pros: The property is a great location to explore the Hudson Valley. It's clean, charming, spacious and has character. I wish we spent more time here. It's the perfect place to relax. The host, Steven, is very attentive and provided great suggestions for the area.

Cons: The website displays the most glorious resident Maine Coon cat which, while one should realize is the owners pet, can't help but be slightly disappointed not to see it upon entering the premises 🐈‍⬛

Pros: The schoolhouse is adorable & quaint. Furnishings are an appropriate mix of vintage & modern! The bedding & towels are of good quality, not your average discount store brand. Instructions, house rules & history of the property well documented in a binder. Easy parking & the turn around is good so one doesn’t have to back out into the road when exiting.

Cons: The only minor issue was a light bulb being out in the back yard; however we always bring a flashlight so not a problem.

Pros: The property makes an impression from the moment you get there. Bright red school house set amongst woods with views of hill and mountains in the distance is very picturesque. Then the big open space when you walk is cozy and tastefully designed for comfort. The outdoor space was great- the set up with a fire pit and chairs and the grill made it so enjoyable to be outside. Beds were comfortable. And all the rooms were clean and had everything anyone could need.

Pros: The school house was clean, well appointed and soooo charming. I only stayed a night but would've stayed a week if I would have known how wonderful it was.

Cons: Motion detector didn't come on. And we arrived at night.
