Pros: Great location, very clean and good room facilities

Great value in great location with lovely rooms; just be prepared for a little adventure finding your room.

Pros: Loved my room, clean and so comfortable, with everything I needed, including a fridge and a microwave. Great location on Main Street! Great value!

Cons: The sign above the front door (which is in a dimly lit alcove) does not say Beacon Hotel, I think it said something like Beacon Apartments? So I asked the tenant on the 1st floor if I was in the right place and they weren’t sure. Once I put my door code in the front door, it was a little tricky to find my way to my room: up the staircase, take a left, put the front door code in another door, get through that, and look for the signs to tell you to go up the stairs or down the stairs or straight ahead, then through another door, then found my door to my room. There’s no staff there to greet and reassure you that you were in the right place, so just be prepared to need a little extra time to find your way …. and it’s better to arrive in daylight.

Worth it, excellent location and allowed for a great stay.

Pros: The location was incredible, the value was good, and all of the check-in process was very easy.

Cons: If there had been any issues with the check-in process or room in general it would have been difficult to get it resolved since there were no staff.

I wish I was in town a little longer it would have been nice to stay a couple more days

Pros: Mr. John is an excellent representative of the Beacon community and it was nice to stay in a space owned by a community member. there are still some renovations coming to the space but it is a welcomed addition to the quaint mainstream feel of the area.

Cons: It is a renovated building so disability access is limited.

Pros: The room was adorable, comfy and cozy with the fireplace!! Such a nice bathroom with fabulous water pressure in the shower! Really loved all of the security measures. Felt very safe.

Cons: The stairs to the third floor! (Haha! We’re just out of shape!!)

Would like to stay again when I have a chance to walk Main Street and see all the great shops/cafes.

Pros: Loved the location and the key code setup. The room was perfect for a lone traveler and I loved its decor. Loved the mock fireplace heater - great touch.

Cons: The recycling truck outside ran from 8am til 11am - loud. Is this every day?

Great location in Beacon!

Pros: The property is centrally located and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and and newly decorated. Room has a coffee pot and cooking appliances. John the owner gave us his card if we needed anything. Overall this was perfect for our stay in Beacon and we would stay here again.

Cons: As from many of the reviews - This is not a hotel and to get to the room is through a few hallways and stairs. There is no elevator. Which was fine for us but if you need help with luggage it’s not ideal. The hallway is shared with an apartment building and it’s a smelly walk to the room. The rooms don’t smell. There was no fridge which is weird if you have an entire kitchen set up.
