Cosy stay at Beacon
Pros: Great hotel to stay in Beacon for a few days and explore the area. Incredibly cosy and spacious room with a lovely view over the river and with very friendly staff. We also enjoyed the provided breakfast.
Cons: The room wasn't entirely clean, i.e. it seems like the carpet wasn't hoovered and still had small pieces of trash on the floor. It would be nice to have some plates and actual cutlery for breakfast.

Fantastic, we loved Beacon and its mountain trails

Very enjoyable stay
Pros: Very comfortable room, great shower. Beautiful grounds.
Cons: It would have been good to have been able to pick up a pamplet( booklet ) with tourist info on Beacon at reception. The Beacon information centre was closed during our stay.

We loved the room but were hoping for a bit more emenit having spend $280 for the night in the room.
Pros: We liked the room very much, very spacious and light, good. Great location, next to a river with a waterfall, beautiful surrounding area. Lovely little walk tit he main street in Beacon.
Cons: There is no communal meeting space in the hotel, just the check in area and then of course your room. No lounge area. The included breakfast were nice items ( OJ, butter, cream cheese, yoghurts) in the fridge and a bag with bagels and muffins was hung in the morning at your door. Sadly no plates or cutlery were provided in the room. The breakfast was good.

But, over all it was a nice place
Pros: I love the location, the waterfall and the decor! Also the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The TV was not working and the breakfast was kind of lame! For $300 a night they should serve a breakfast at the restaurant not bagels and juice at the room.

Great hotel in a beautiful setting.
Pros: Amazing building and great location in Beacon, a beautiful town on the Hudson River. Our room was large, comfortable and had a really nice feel to it. Beds were very comfy.
Cons: Limited breakfast of yoghurt, muffins and bagels every day and the restaurant was closed the two nights we stayed.

Good place to stay despite some little issues
Pros: Great atmosphere, fantastic view and good breakfast (I didn't expect that I could have a real bagel outside of New York city).
Cons: The Keurig machine was not so clean, so I had to wipe inside a little.

Very lovely place in a great little town.
Pros: Beautiful architectural design and room appointments
Cons: The bathroom door just hangs and slides and doesn’t close properly, and has no handle—not much auditory privacy, bc the bed is right next to this door. Also the walls are thin, but with earplugs all good. A breakfast room would be nice, but breakfast delivered to room was a nice touch.

Pros: Stunning views out of our windows, comfortable room, spacious, attentive staff. The town of Beacon is charming and so very walkable.
Cons: Restaurant was closed two days while we were there so we missed lunch dining outside.
