Pros: The staff are friendly and efficient in every aspect of their jobs. The facilities are fantastic, this is our 4th trip to long island and we use the Whitman motor lodge every year.

Was a great spot to stay, better than we expected!

Pros: Newly renovated room, with large and comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Morning coffee was gooood :)

Pros: Very easy check-in. Great parking. Very big apartment style room. Very spacious. Good stores close by. Very friendly staff. Very clean.

Exactly what we needed for our overnight visit.

Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff, perfect suite for our family. We will definitely be back.

Cons: Rooms could use a little TLC (cracking paint, rusting drain in shower etc...), but nothing so bad that it would make me not want to stay here again.

A 1950's motor lodge tranformed into a first class hotel.

Pros: Walt Whitman Motor Lodge was outstanding. The rooms were very large and newly remodeled. Extremely clean, bright, and cheery. Wonderful and friendly staff that took care of our every need. Location is excellent, right on Jericho Tpke less than a mile from great shops and restaurants. Everything was top notch.

Cons: This is a transformed 1950's style motor lodge, as is clear from the outside when you first drive up. Don't despair, because once you step into your room, you will be voerjoyed. What a wonderful place.

Comfort and care, Whitman is well run and worth it!

Pros: What a happy surprise our stay was. The suite was impeccably clean, and so comfortably designed. It was a little off the beaten track for us, but the friendly staff and fantastic room made us feel like we wanted to stay much longer. We'll definitely be back.

Cons: Next time I think we'll try and park in the back. Front parking is a little tight to the road.
