More than a cheap motel

Pros: Good stay for the money. Virtually spotless and felt like the staff cared about the rooms. About half an hour from West Point. Checked in late and the staff was able to accommodate my late arrival. Would recommend for a value room.

Cons: A couple very small things that could have been cleaned up but I was not expecting perfection. Did not impact the stay at all.

For price and convenience, can't be beat. Hard water is the biggest drawback.

Pros: Countryside is an affordable property, offering clean rooms with a great location and very friendly helpful staff. There is ample parking and as the entrances to most of the rooms are from the exterior there is more privacy and less spillover of sounds and smells from adjacent rooms as there are in the long hallways of most hotels.

Cons: The biggest drawback is the *extremely* hard water from the sinks and showers. It feels virtually impossible to get soap off of one's hands or body.
