Americas Best Value Inn New Paltz

Pros: The staff at check in and the cleanliness of the room.

Great value, large room, huge comfy bed, good location for bars and restaurants.

Pros: Lovely large room with a huge comfy bed and nice bathroom. Well furnished and clean and smart. Excellent value. If you don't mind a stroll in the evening there's plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, some very nearby but the best are 20+ mins walk or a short taxi ride.

Cons: The self service breakfast facility could have used a little more selection - although to be fair our view might be coloured by the amazing one in a similar hotel elsewhere the day before, or we might have come in after the busy period and lots had gone already.

A great stay in new Paltz.

Pros: A great place to stay just off the highway. A lot of restaurants near by and amazingly quiet place considering it close to the highway. Super nice beds and large rooms and excellent and friendly staff.

Great place to relax and explore the nature around!

Pros: Pretty big room, comfortable bed and great furnishing (coffee machine, etc.). Staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Cons: Without a car, could be a bit further from the town center, where most restaurants are located. Breakfast is rather simple, though more than enough to kick off the day.

Pros: Everything was great , and Miss Gail Schaller at the front desk she's the best !

Pros: Stayed one night. It was great value for the price. Nothing to complain.

This is a nice, decent, hotel that has all of the basics.

Pros: It was clean and quiet, despite the fact that it is next to a highway. Kudos to the grownup adults at the reception desk. Much appreciated professionalism, sense of humor.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Breakfast options would have benefited with protein options other than yogurt. One of the rooms smelled a teeny bit as though a smoker had used it some time in the past. But it was very clean and orderly.

Decent place for overnight stay

Pros: Clean, spacious room, large comfortable bed. Easy check-in, everything fine. Towels and toiletries present. Decent place to stay overnight when travelling.

Cons: Noise from nearby freeway could be heard. Breakfast was very simple. There was unpleasant smell of some cleaning agent in the room when we checked-in.

Perfect for cyclists exploring the Empire State Trail.

Pros: The Hotel sits at the top of New Paltz, right on the Empire State Trail so perfect for cyclists doing a multi-day trip. As you arrive at right turn on the EST, next to a quite busy crossroads, the hotel is reached by turning right and using the crossing to get to it. Rooms were really quiet, they had no problems about me keeping my bike in the room, beds were comfortable and the showers lovely and hot.

Cons: Not a lot to complain about. It’s worth noting that it is above New Paltz town centre, which is about a mile away downhill. I was tired and very hungry so ended up just eating at a nearby pizza place rather than exploring the town.
