Pros: Great place to stay - stayed 6 nights in winter. Convenient to Hudson Valley, Poughkeepsie and to Rhinebeck / Pleasant Valley. Kevin the owner was wonderfully welcoming, so helpful and just super!

Pros: Kevin was a great host, the apartment was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was convenient and very lovely at this fall time of the year. The tour of the garden, the local history, and the cats overhead were an added bonus! Thanks! Jean

We needed a quiet haven in the middle of a long road trip. This place was great. Absolutely no road noise.

Pros: Great for a quiet getaway. Also had Netflix. Comfortable bed.

Wonderful stay for some peace and quiet!

Pros: The selection of records and sound system were phenomenal! It was nice and warm. And you can see the TV from the couch AND the bed which is nice!

Cons: The furnace kicking on was loud at times.

Convenient hideaway

Pros: Fine, easy to find, even in the dark. The little hideaway itself is very nicely appointed, the record collection and the nice furniture are cool, the bathroom and other areas are very clean. I didn’t need a washer/dryer, but that's always a perk. The free CCS EV charger saved me a lot of trouble!

Cons: It’s strange to enter through the messy garage, especially at night. The fact that the apartment has a blocked staircase to the upstairs but I didn’t know anything about who or what was up there made me slightly uneasy. I imagine that women traveling alone would not be comfortable staying in this place.

Great value for a quick overnight stay in a private area. Drive carefully at night with all the deer around!

Pros: Kevin was very friendly and quick to provide local recommendations/quick to respond. The space has is quiet and has parking, plus my partner had fun with the audio system.

Cons: The apartment is in the basement, so there’s just the occasional common small bug and there was no sponge for the dish soap. Just FYI guests should know this place is connected to the owner’s garage (with his car) and that door that exits to the garage doesn’t lock, though there is a lock before exiting to the outside.

It worked perfect for our brief stay. Worth the price.

Pros: the place is nicely set up, and comfortable, and the collection of music was a great add-on. I wasn't able to explore the house due to the brief stay, but nearby it was the Vanderbilt House which was a pleasant surprise and very nice to visit in the morning.

Cons: There was some noise coming from the machine room every now and then throughout the night.

I wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros: Super clean unit. Nice patio for morning coffee and a nice yard for our pup to explore.
