Very homely with every effort made to make the stay comfortable.

Pros: Our host was most hospitable and could tell us a lot about the area which was completely new to us. We loved all the sitting down spaces both inside and outside and the location was lovely and quiet.

Cons: We had hoped to be able to walk into the town to get a meal but it is just a bit too far when the nights are dark. Also a bit disappointing that the breakfast was continental as it is towards the end of the season.

Pros: Dalija was an exceptional hostess and inn keeper. She made sure all our needs were met. She was knowledgeable about all resources available to us as she grew up in the area. And besides that she was charming!

Our next trip to Tanglewood will include Eastgate without any hesitation !

Pros: We attended the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood. This great place was a 10 minute walk to the venue, which turned out to be MUCH MORE VALUABLE then we thought it would be !! Not to mention, all at Eastgate was perfect !

Cons: Nothing I can think of.....

Quiet location, well back from the road. Close to Tanglewood and Lenox amenities.

Pros: Charming decoration throughout with many collectibles. Off-season breakfast was simple. Met my requirements just fine. The owner was very approachable and accessible by text.

Fijne plek in the Berkshires.

Pros: De gastvrijheid van Dalija is fantastisch! Een warm welkom en fijne gesprekken. Veel tips voor een wandeling of uitje in de omgeving. Daarnaast toch voldoende privacy. Centrale omgeving, dicht bij alle highlights van the Berkshires.

Cons: Helaas geen uitgebreid ontbijt zoals in andere reviews, maar wel vers fruit en zelfgemaakt bananenbrood naast uiteraard koffie en thee en muffins.
