New York City Guest House

Pros: Great value for money. Don’t come expecting the same facilities as a luxury hotel but it suited me great. Communal kitchen and toilets were super clean.

It was a nice and comfortable stay. No negative experiences.

Pros: It was very modest, but a great place for a low budget traveller. Everything important was there. In my small room I had a quite a big fridge, extra toilet paper, fork and knife. The host was super friendly.

Cons: Shower was a bit confusing since there did not seem to be hot water. Later I was told I should have to let it run for some minutes to get warm.

Pros: Place was nice and comfortable. Clean. I loved it and it was perfect for my stay! I stayed one night and got towels, soap, toilet paper. Also, there was a fridge in the room. And the shared kitchen was clear.

Cons: The AC made a lot of noise. It didn’t matter to me because it’s also white noise but if you are sensitive to it you should know and it’s like this in many places in NY. And the water flow in the shower was weak.

Pros: Absolutely amazing accommodation, quiet district, close to Central Park, peaceful neighborhood. Cozy clean apartment, really good for 2 persons. Really good communication with the owner. Good option to stay in NY for a reasonable price.

This stay is amazing for a small group of people travelling near Harlem or NYC.

Pros: Everything about this appartment was awesome as listed! Host was very good with checking in, we were in a good neighborhood very close to the 125th st station, and had all amenities we needed. Excellent stay and I will certianly recomend coming here to my friends!

Cons: My only complaint is that the heating could not be controlled, which led to the bed by the radiator getting very warm. Opening a window, however, seemed to balance it out, but its something to be aware of

Pros: - Quick and clear responses to my questions -The shared bathroom was very clean, and rarely busy. -The heating was great (i was there mid december with temperatures below zero). - The room was clean and comfy I was staying for a week, and I was mostly out sightseeing during the day so it was a good fit for my needs.

Cons: More (coat)hangers in the room and in the shared bathroom would be a good improvement.
