This hotel worked very well for us - everything was easy and 10min walk to Grand Central so overall a quieter location t

Pros: Great views from the room. Rooms were good size especially for New York and comfortable bed & nice bathroom. Decent location as 10min walk from Grand Central. Ambassador Grill served nice food. Helpful to be able to spend the $35 resort fee in the hotel in the cafe which meant breakfast & some drinks/snacks was generally paid for by offsetting against that daily charge. Overall an easy hotel to stay at to visit NYC.

Cons: A little tired in places.

Convenient location and great views in a somewhat dated environment.

Pros: The room was clean and a decent size with a great view. The location was great and the staff were friendly and accomodating.

Cons: The window in the room was strangely small and it was clear that the room was somewhat older in terms of fitting and decor.

Pros: Great location near UN HQ. Quick check-in check-out.

Cons: Urban destination charge - you are informed just on the spot that you have to pay it. No information on this in advance.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Manhattan was worth it. Beautiful and scenic with one side showcasing the New York skyline and the other (gym) showcasing the East River and the UN building.

Cons: Carpets in our room were not too clean. Overall, the stay was good and thoroughly enjoyed my time in NY as well as the hotel. Great choice for me.

Good Stay

Pros: Location. Was near my work meetings location. Excellent view overlooking the Hudson river. Has a Cafe at Lobby. Friendly staff specially Ms. Adeina, she's so kind and friendly and made our stay very memorable.

Cons: The new policy where they deduct $35/day for each room which you need to use it as credit in Cafe with no option to Opt out. The Security guard with the dog surprised us with suddenly letting the dog come very close to us to scan without giving us heads-up so we won't be surprised. Would be great if he gives heads-up to Guests next time.

Perfect location

Pros: Perfect location, just opposite UN. And the view is so great from the room window.

Cons: The room keeping staff had a bad attitude. On the last morning, I told her I was going to check out, but the staff still knocked on the door many times to urge me to leave. At the same time I saw she was actually cleaning the room next to me, I didn't know why she was in such a hurry.

Pros: We would like to thank Ms. Adina from Reception desk- she made our stay super and we are so grateful for her hospitality. She made effort to find perfect room as we were on honeymoon (also thanks to her manager). Second thanks goea to Ms. Daniela feom UN Caffe who is making best espresso in NY!

Cons: First person we met at reception was very rigid man and first room he gave to us had many flaws. Thanks to Ms. Adina, all was taken care of (including alergens I reported in advance).

Loved the location, and room view!

Pros: our room had a spectacular view of Manhattan! It was the best ever.

Cons: Check in, they had the wrong price for my reservation. Took awhile to sort out, despite my printout of the reservation. Long lines for breakfast and coffee, and they always run out of the croissant by the time I came down, around 9:30 am.
