The Elms Waterfront Cottages

We enjoyed our stay!!! We will be back!

Pros: We love the place. Not perfect but we enjoyed our stay. It’s very peaceful close to nature. Kids love the hammock. It has an excellent view of the lake.

We couldn't have asked for a nice quick getaway. The place is perfect. Can't wait to return.

Pros: Two of the family members (myself being one of them) had been at your place approximately three years ago. Myself and a few family members, wanted to find a nice place up north and we suggested your place since we had such a great time the first time we visited. The cabin was perfect right by the water, roomy, beautiful scenery and a great host! Thank you for a wonderful couple of days. We will be back next year!

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Exactly what I needed and hoped for. Quiet relaxing down time with enough fun activities if desired.

Pros: The view of the lake and the mountains in the background was breathtaking!

Great value for a simple getaway in the Adirondacks, no frills, but everything you need to enjoy the outdoors.

Pros: Loved that it’s super dog friendly! Location was central to get to both Lake George and Saratoga and go on hikes and restaurants. We loved the free access to the kayaks and paddle boats. And we like the cabin’s enclosed porch area (it rained once), the fire pit and the grill.

Cons: We were not a fan of the beach that is on premises mostly because of the water in that area. But you can kayak/ paddle across the river and access a nice little beach area that we liked.

Pros: We had a pleasant stay. Very peaceful and nice location by Hudson River and dog friendly. Live music on Sunday night was awesome!!!

Cons: Beach was not very inviting for swimming. Our cottage could use some TLC, especially the bathroom, kitchen, and porch, and it was a bit overpriced .

Erg leuke country cabin op geweldige locatie.

Pros: Geweldig mooie locatie in de bossen en direct aan de Hudson river, privéstrandje, leuke cabin met veranda, vuurplaats, bbq, goede airco, vriendelijk personeel, leuke uitvalsbasis voor activiteiten (paardrijden, raften etc.), echte US country sfeer.

Cons: Er was niets wat echt tegenviel, de cabins zijn een beetje primitief en wat out-dated maar gezellig en clean en juist ook wel erg charmant daardoor.

Pros: Accueil chaleureux et très propre. Plusieurs activités tels que paddle boards, kayak offerts.la vue est superbe

Cons: La « plage » mérite de l’amour. Être au 2 étage.

Pros: It was a cottage with a lot of outdoor spaces. We had fires outside, ate meals outside and played shuffle board and corn hole. There was also much to do at the lake/river

Cons: Kitchen and bathroom tiny,but functional. Squirrels kept breaking in to our porch.

Pros: I enjoyed my stay it was quiet and peaceful close to all the attractions that I wanted to see

Cons: There could of had another tv in the living area and a ceiling fan in both rooms

Pros: The cottages were right by the lake, had a beautiful view. Very good distance to Lake George. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming. Loved that each cottage has their own fire pit, bbq, picnic table and were good distance from each other.

Cons: The cottages were very dated. Full of spiderwebs and dust everywhere. The screens to porch area needs to be changed. For the price they charge, they should try to remodel. The bathroom was falling apart, shower curtain was moldy. The bedding should be updated to more decent bedding. I brought my own sheets and towels. The outdoor equipment was very old, something didn’t work. The cleaning ladies were rude, check out is up to noon, and they kept passing by and parked gold cart outside the cottages staring at us, very rudely and didn’t even say good morning. Felt very rushed.
