The Perch Hotel

Pros: I love this place! Was super cute, clean, convenient and such a well thought out space. The staff was also phenomenal, very friendly and went above any beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. In fact, it had snowed during my stay and I woke up to a shoved trail to my car and the snow brushed off my windows. I will definitely be back!

Cons: No complaints, this place was everything I needed and more!

Pros: Beautiful old motel that’s been lovingly restored and just has a great vibe. The common area is huge, wonderfully cozy with lots of areas for games or just relaxing by the fire. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the views are extraordinary. The staff was also incredibly generous and great at communication. They took amazing care of us.

Cons: Some quirky details in the rooms given it’s an older property, like a table under the window in room 12 that wouldn’t fold down so it was a bit tough to close the curtains. Also given that they’ve only been operational for a few months, a few tweaks to the reservation system are needed, etc. but none of these were major at all.

Pros: The management was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our stay very pleasant, especially with the spectacular view from our room.

Pros: The view is spectacular and the room was very nice! Lobby was nicely done. It’s very peaceful. The hotel manager was lovely.

Pros: The view is phenomenal. Pretty close to Katarskill trails and Catskill. They do provide complimentary coffee and some snacks in the morning. Beautiful surroundings and quiet.

Cons: The cleaning could be done better. Accidentally, i looked under the bed and was amazed by a layer of dust there. Also, an empty water bottle was left by the previous quests under the bed and a pillow. I found it unacceptable for this type of hotel. Otherwise, I liked this hotel and would back in the future.

Pros: The Perch is a warm and inviting hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby or common room is large, inviting, and has small vases of fresh cut flowers . It has a large fireplace as well as many comfortable areas to sit, relax, read. or socialize. This room has a panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys which are stellar, as was the hospitality and personalized service that Katie provided for each of her guests during my stay! I look forward to returning to this peaceful haven in the future.
