The Haüs Windham - Spacious Suites

Amazing weekend getaway! Highly reccomend!

Pros: My experience was nothing short of excellent. Its great location, coupled with the beautiful rooms, made it a memorable and delightful stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a wonderful retreat in Windham/Catskills. The interior design was simple but elegant. The room was impeccably clean, and the comfortable bed/linens were amazing. I messaged the hotel after my stay to see where I could buy the bedding for our apartment in the city, it was prob my favorite part of the room. The hot tub and view from the hot tub were perfect skills. The Windham path and golf course were a short walk from the property. My wife and I went for a stroll along the Windham path every morning with our coffees in hand.

Cons: The cell service on the whole mountain is pretty weak; the property did have high-speed wifi, though.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The location is beautiful and very peaceful, surrounded by nature and trees. The room was clean, modern, and very cozy with amazing large windows and great views. We also really appreciated that the staff upgraded us to a bigger suite — that was a very kind gesture and made our stay even more special. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from everyday stress.

A cute new option for visiting the area

Pros: The Hamilton Suite was nice, basic but spacious. The beds were perfect and the living area was comfy. The bathroom was small, but we'll equipped (the blow dryer even had a diffuser for us curlies).

Cons: The door was drafty, like a big space at the bottom that let in a lot of cold air. I would have appreciated a microwave & coffee maker of some sort. And from what I could tell the Sauna was out of order (door broken & full of tools, etc.) And it didnt seem like the out door hot tub was up and running either.

Pros: The Franklin suite was the perfect size for 4 adults. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was amazing. The living room was so cozy, and the fireplace was a nice addition. The showers worked very well, and the hot water always came on quick. Beautiful views from the patio.

Pros: Quaint, out of the way location with a sauna and a hot tub. Beautiful views of the changing colors.

Quiet efficient and charming hotel that could use a little TLC

Pros: Perfect location to visit an old area family used to live. Secluded and easy to get to. Very quiet. The staff were super responsive after a couple things I needed their attention to.

Cons: The only thing I’d say is the hot water pressure in my room was awful. Barely enough pressure to rinse soap off. The bathroom was cold as it was a European style no shower curtain, no door open standing shower. The lack of hot water pressure and the cold from the AC made showering awful. The property itself is obviously very dated on the outside and could use some refreshing. Seemed like they may have been working on the room above mine when I was there . Also Interior of the room was another adjoining room via a locked door that could be occupied by someone else and that really felt like your privacy could be minimal if someone was staying in the room that shared this locked door.

A peaceful glass cabin in the mountains with a private hot tub and total silence — the perfect one-night escape.

Pros: A perfect mountain escape — even for just one night! We only stayed one night in this beautiful glass cabin, but it was enough to completely recharge. The design is stunning — modern, full of natural light, and incredibly cozy. Everything feels high-end and thoughtfully chosen. The hot tub right next to the house was the highlight. Soaking in warm water under the open sky, surrounded by silence and nature — it was pure magic. Even though it was a short stay, the peace and quiet made it feel like time slowed down. No noise, no stress — just fresh mountain air and stillness. Highly recommended for a quick getaway. We’d love to come back and stay longer next time!

Pros: My stay at the Haus Windham was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how impeccably clean everything was.
