Pros: We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into while winding into Pine Hill on dark roads. But once we got there, we realized it was exactly where we needed to be.

Hidden gem with a friendly staff.

Pros: Very nice staff, great hospitality. Cool lounge and nostalgia. Convenient location.

Cons: Broken shower mixer valve/handle. Still in working order!

Pros: Very comfortable and warming experience! The hospitality starts as soon as you arrive, even before checked in! Very nice group there. On a personal note we had our dog pass away recently and they had a senior dog that really reminded us of her and was very comforting to spend some time with her there!

Unforgettable - for the right reasons

Pros: Superb atmospheric hotel and bar, bristling with character and off-beat charm. Stuffed with antiques, super-helpful owners, bears, birds and beer. In the heart of historic Pine Hill with its faded glories and kindly townsfolk. Different and delightful.

Cons: There was no easy way to get a cup of tea without asking - we're British, you know!

A one of a kind place- they don't make them like this anymore!

Pros: Incredibly unique hotel with great history (built in 1790 by President John Adams cousin). Fascinating collection of eclectic bits of Americana, statuary, ornately carved furniture, taxidermy and other curiosities jumbled in a homey atmosphere. The father and daughter who own and operate the inn are super friendly, engaging and helpful.

Cons: Although the overall impression is charming, be aware that the hotel is a very old structure that shows its age. That being said, the water and facilities work fine.

Pros: So unique and that’s rare in this world these days. Heather is an angel. Fun to play with the pets. Comfortable bed and we were very warm despite it being an older building and so so cold outside.

Convenient location, beautiful interior

Pros: The closeness to Belleayre is unmatched! The decor is so unique and beautiful, like a museum. The owner and his daughter are really nice. The owner restored the entire place himself! Truly amazing.

Cons: The restaurant was closed for renovation unfortunately, would loved to have tried their breakfast!
