The Lloyd Stamford

Much better than previous reviews suggested, we’d like to stay there again!

Pros: Limited breakfast choice but good quality, freshly & promptly prepared. Modern room facilities. In all ways better than a previous Stamford hotel we stayed in.

Cons: Didn’t find kettle till we were leaving! Would like a better town map to help pedestrians, fresh milk in fridge, snacks (to give more value for money)

Lovely place to stay with great staff

Pros: Location is excellent with lots of eating places immediately round the corner. The staff are very helpful and you get texts checking everything is OK. They are very responsive eg we said there was no kettle in the room and one was supplied very quickly. They have a free shuttle service to take you anywhere within 5 miles.

Pros: Contemporary, understated, calming hotel, which had a boutique hotel feel. Around the corner from Stamford Main Street, with a great selection of restaurants. Super helpful staff!

Cons: Windows in the room can’t be opened Breakfast is not the best - limited options but can be provided to go

Pros: The location is near the train station, and I love this hotel. I would stay here again.

A stylish hotel with great service and comfy beds.

Pros: A unique experience with a special decor. Great for business travelers or for a visit to the whole area. Good breakfast choice in a nice atmosphere. Nespresso Espresso Machine in the room.

Cons: Don`t expect a nice view. This hotel is located in the middle of the city and you look out on parking lots.

Well location for trains in and out of Stamford

Pros: Had a modern clean decor and was within walking distance of Stamford station.

Cons: Coffee could have been ordered via reception however it would have been good to have drinks making facilities in the room. Staff didn’t give a run down of facilities that the hotel had to offer - gym, breakfast arrangements, bar etc

Brand new hotel with nice interiors and perfect location

Pros: Awesome interiors in the room, all brand new, nice staff, convenient location close to downtown and I-95.

Cons: Futile breakfast. Hard to access ramp for strollers. Shampoo and shower gel were empty. Sealed windows (like in 99% of American hotels).

Pros: Everything We stay at The Lloyd almost every 6-8 weeks It is our go to hotel

Cons: There is nothing that we do not like about this property
