Perfect weekend in couple

Pros: Really cozy and relaxing Hotel at Central Port. I really recommend this place.

Nice stay on Long Island

Pros: Very clean room and very friendly Staff! We enjoyed the good starting point to several excursions.

An enjoyable stay that will be repeated.

Pros: It’s charming going back up the days of real keys and door knobs, without the electronics. The location is superb on the north shore of Long Island. The room was extremely clean.

Cons: Lack of outlets on the nightstands for phone charging. TV went out after a very heavy rain storm.

Clean comfortable lodging with a definite 60s vibe.

Pros: Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were in town for a high school reunion and the Chalet was the closest and most convenient motel.

Cons: The parking lot needs serious resurfacing! Also the absence of any work surface like a desk or something similar made it very difficult to check email or do anything else on the computer. The overall 60s-70s vibe of the Chalet may not appeal to some folks but was fine with us.

a good value and a comfortable clean room

Pros: The room was exceptionally clean and a good size. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a small continental bfast in the lobby -coffee, muffins, oatmeal. Housekeeping came each day.

Cons: The heat/ac unit was loud (in my opinion, didn't bother my husband). It poured rain while we were there and the sound of rain on the roof of our second floor room was incredibly loud as well. Recommend asking for a first floor room to avoid this

Chalet Inn Centerport

Pros: The staff! Wonderful people...they truly care and appreciate their guests. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are happy. The room is great...roomy, comfortable and very nicely decorated, from the king bed to the brick walls....very elegant, but not stuffy. The location is near everything and the water view is beautiful. They truly represent what Long Island...a warm, welcoming place. We were there during a snow storm. They cleared the parking lot AND each of the cars that were in the lot! How great is that! Wonderful place to stay!

Cons: We loved everything!

Chalet Inn Centerport New York

Pros: The staff is wonderful. Everyone is TRULY happy that you are staying here. They are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room is great...spacious, comfortable, quiet. They offer a light breakfast, coffee all day. The location is near everything. A very nice place to be!

Pros: The gentleman at the desk at night was amazing, very helpful. I love the fact that they gave us a key to the door of the room and not a swipe card. It's very tranquil and nostalgic. We are already planning to stay there on our next trip in December. The patio furniture outside the door of the room was a nice touch.Great to have a morning cup of coffee or tea.

Cons: There was nothing that I did not like about staying at the Chalet Inns and Suites.

Restful & we will return

Pros: The adjacent pond & wildlife Good value!! Room appeared free of bed bugs when we inspected Fridge was a good size Quiet area (next door guests notwithstanding) Blackout curtains Choice of gazebos/benches/seating areas outside of room Showers had good water pressure

Cons: Sink did not drain Screen in bathroom window had a 2” x 2” hole letting in mosquitoes No ability to make coffee or tea in room Only one key per room which made separate excursions impossible Sink was separate from bathroom

Only needed it for sleeping.

Pros: The appearance was very nice, the rooms were nice but needed to be lightened up just a little. Lighter shade of paint would be enough. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: As I said earlier, just needed to be a little lighter on the inside. lighter coat of paint.
