August Lodge Cooperstown

Lovely

Pros: Lovely location with great views . Huge but cosy room with kitchen area.

We will definitely consider returning if staying in the area.

Pros: The breakfast was fairly standard. No prepared food, but cereal, cereal bars, yogurt, coffee, etc.

Cons: I could hear conversations from the room next door, and the in room coffee was insufficient.

Pros: The location. The views. The breakfast room. The arch style. The doors.

Beautiful, serene, peaceful oasis

Pros: The views and private balconies really set off a serene getaway

Cons: There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the property. If I was really getting picky I would prefer a pergo type floor instead of carpet but that would really be diving deep

Highly recommend!

Pros: The lodge is so welcoming and in a picture-perfect setting surrounded by trees and forests. The rooms are clean and spacious. The leaves had just started to change, and the scenery was beautiful. We had a simple breakfast, which was just enough to get our day started before we headed to Cooperstown to the baseball Hall of Fame. It was a 5 minute drive away. We ate lunch in Cooperstown at one of many restaurants and dinner at Boca. The food was wonderful. I highly recommend the August Lodge.

Cons: We enjoyed everything.

A beautiful place to spend a relaxing night…or more

Pros: The beautiful view and friendly staff Loved the set up for a campfire overlooking the mountains

Cons: A protein selection or two on the breakfast would be great

Remote relaxing getaway

Pros: Beautiful remote location with expansive views. The lodge has nice lounge area and screen porch for all to enjoy. In the evening you can light a wood firepit and sit out in the adirondack chairs. We watched a full moon rise. August Lodge is located 5 miles from Cooperstown and just down the hill there is grocery store. The room was spacious and comfortable with a patio to sit and enjoy the morning. Breakfast was continental with machine coffee, muffins and yogurt.

Cons: The chocolate muffins were too stale to eat but the blueberry were OK. Pool hours closed at 7pm unfortunately so we could not enjoy the hot tub in the evening.

Incredible stay with breathtaking views

Pros: I cannot say enough great things about our stay. The staff was incredibly kind, the rooms were comfortable, spacious and came with more amenities than we even expected and the view from our room was breathtaking. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We will, without question, be back.

Cons: I have no complaints whatsoever

Great value with log cabin Adirondack feel

Pros: Staff very friendly. View would have been great if weather had cooperated. Neat screen porch to hang out in. Nice porch right outside our room. Good value.

Cons: They really should invest in new towels (frayed edges) and sheets (pilled). . Carpet needed help. Loud heater

I loved the atmosphere of the setting and surroundings.

Pros: Great Location. Loved the grounds and the view from the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and had great amenities.
