Really excellent hotel / upmarket B&B. We’ll definitely visit again

Pros: Beautiful, characterful and nicely appointed house. The outstanding feature of the property though was the staff - particularly Beej, who was just a superb host.

Unique and so special hotel I ever lived before, an amazing experience

Pros: Fantastic breakfast and house environment I would love to recommend my friends and colleagues to come and live, give it a try to experience such a warm place

Pros: Cozy cute hotel with a very nice swimming pool and common area. Friendly staff and breakfast with gluten free options. I really felt relaxed.

Cons: Location is far from station and restaurants.

If you don't mind the basic breakfast it's a great place to stay in a good location.

Pros: The Inn is very charming, reminiscent of English B&B. Rooms with vintage furniture and colored walls, thick carpets, clean and pretty bathrooms, comfy armchair in the room.

Cons: Breakfast very basic without much variation. Scrambled eggs would have been nice...

Pros: Absolutely loved the place. A historic building with character, a lovely secret garden, a nice breakfast, it was wonderful.

Cons: The bed we had was a little hard but not awful, I just like cloud softness in my mattress. The lady I mentioned it to assured me they are in the process of replacing all the older mattresses for new ones. Even then, it's a minor complaint. We will be staying again!

Pros: Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Information provided for local restaurants was also welcomed.

Pleasantly surprised! Sweet B&B feel with modern functionality.

Pros: The room was immaculate and very functional for an able-bodied person travelling alone. The staff was accessible and sooooo helpful via text at all times - very responsive. The common areas are sweet but not precious - i did not have occasion to spend much time there, but would have felt very comfortable. The towels and linens are great quality REALLY appreciated the amenities in the refillable containers The outdoor areas with tables (both outside my room and near the pool). so nice to have these options.

Cons: the step up to the bathroom - that is a tripping hazard. I stacked my spare towels right in front of the step to be safe.

Satisfying

Pros: Breakfast was usually various pastries and bagels, fresh fruits, with a special addition of a quiche of the day or avocado toast of oatmeal.

Cons: Stairs. Be aware. Didn’t realize my room was on the third floor. Managed that with difficulty because I was still recovering from a knee replacement.
