Visions Inn

A wonderful place to stay; it considerably elevated my enjoyment of Cooperstown this time around!

Pros: I liked the close proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, since I was attending the annual baseball history and culture symposium there. In addition, I greatly appreciate the flexibility of the hotel staff in allowing my family and me to stay in a room on the ground floor to accommodate my disability.

Cons: As always with Cooperstown in general, I would have liked a lower room rate:-) Beyond that, I cannot think of anything else when it comes to room-for-improvement recommendations.

Fantastic location, spacious room, and enjoy the discounted breakfast!

Pros: Fantastic location; spacious room when traveling with two teenagers; the coupons for the Lake Front Restaurant were greatly appreciated (and it was a delicious breakfast). Fresh towels were brought to our room for our second night, which doesn't happen a lot these days at other hotels.

Cons: Unfortunately the weather cancelled the boat tour, so that coupon for a free passenger went unused. It would be nice if there were an ice machine at the Visions Inn; it's a bit inconvenient to walk to the Lake Front Hotel to get ice.

Second time here. Very private and comfortable. Huge room!

Pros: So easy to walk around. The bed was very comfortable and parking made our trip very enjoyable!

Cons: Shower a bit small for my husband

Perfect location for a Cooperstown visit!

Pros: Fantastic location, coupons offered a discount at the Lake Front Restaurant and the Glimmerglass Queen boat tour (although the discounts have not kept up with the rise in prices for meals and inflation).

Cons: It would be nice to have an ice machine at the Visions Inn instead of having to walk to the Lake Front Hotel. I feel like the cost of the room should be a bit more affordable, considering Hall of Fame induction weekend had come and gone. Perhaps additional discounts to other restaurants, museums, etc. could be arranged as well.

Pros: Conveninece to town. Everything in walking distance.

Cons: Needed to bring own tissues and hand soap as they don’t provide tissues and just a bar of soap. The soap is my preference.

Perfect Stay in Cooperstown!

Pros: This is a perfect location for anyone going to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was only about a one-half block walk up to the Hall and the main street. The staff we encountered were extremely nice. There was also an assigned parking space in the front of the building.

Pros: You can not possibly find a better location to experience the National Baseball Hall of Fame and all of downtown Cooperstown!

The location & parking alone made The Visions Inn absolutely awesome!

Pros: Quirky, awsome little gem RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF COOPERSTOWN! Literally half a block from the Baseball Hall Of Fame (you can see it from the drive!), and down a short lane from the incredibly great Stagecoach Coffee Shop. You park, and it's so close to everything you don't need to drive again unless you're hitting something outside the village. Super clean, HUGE room, super quiet and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Loved it and hope to stay there again!

Cons: It got rather hot at night, and the curtains could be a bit less see-through (we were on the ground floor).

I will rent again if returning to Cooperstown

Pros: Walking distance from everything. Dedicated parking spot.
