Overall good experience
Pros: Free street parking was available right at the doorstep—no expensive garage fees required! The property is conveniently located from all major attractions.
Cons: It did not have bunk beds as described in the listing, the rooms could have been more cleaner

Lots of space in less than ideal neighborhood.
Pros: We chose this property based on its proximity to ICAHN Stadium, where our son participated in a multi-day track meet. It was an easy walk to that bus line and right around the corner from the subway. There was a good supermarket and several restaurants within a couple of blocks. We used the Bounce luggage drop-off service at the UPS across the street since we arrived before check-in. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms seemed like a huge luxury in New York, and we also made use of the kitchen. The air conditioning worked great.
Cons: Guests should be aware that this neighborhood has a very high concentration of unhoused individuals under the influence of drugs. People were passed out on the sidewalk, wandering confused, screaming profanities, and visibly conducting transactions on our block at all times of the day. However, we did not see any physical violence and were never approached or threatened. There were often police officers standing in pairs on the corner. Although the host responded to questions, they could have been more proactive. There were issues with the key that they were aware of but did not share until we reached out with questions.
