NY Moore Hostel

Would recommend this hostel as staff were great, it was a nice stay.

Pros: Desk staff were all super friendly and very helpful.

Cons: The room was a little warm for me.

Great quality to price ratio for budget trips to NY.

Pros: Really well equipped – tea, coffee, pool table, large kitchen. Large common room with TV and couches. Clean and nice place to stay.

Great value and convenient

Pros: Good location very near to subway. Lots of coffee and tea. Helpful staff. Super clean. Great value. Area is a lot safer than it looks!

Cons: Occasionally noisy - no fault of the hostel. Some guests need to be asked to be quiet. It’s a small issue though as people here seem to be decent and quieten down when asked. Didn’t cause much of an issue.

I will stay here again on my next trips to NYC!

Pros: The location is safe. The staff was amazing and helped me a lot. The room was spacious, the bed was good and the bathroom was big, clean and modern. The facilities were cosy. Short walk to the subway and a few nice bars right around the corner.

Lovely cheap stay

Pros: Very comfy matress in my 3bedroom Own bathroom More or less quiet. Thin walls and roof, but most of the guests act kind Nice and helpful stuff Well located with 2 different subways around also lots of shops and restaurants The price for what you get is really good

Cons: Towels in the kitchen would be great so you dont always have to use napkins Maye sorting trash but dont know about the situation in new york or if its not possible because the guests wont do it

Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I for instance had reserve my stay in 2 separate bookings and realised I'd booked the wrong type dorm for a couple of days. Receptionist helped me fix it straight away and with no added fees, a service much above what I'd expect from a hostel. on top of that: great common areas, and so happy to realise there were also kitchen facilities. And there's coffee 24/7. really good value for money

Cons: room was perhaps a little dark, only has 1 window? woken up a couple of mornings by sound of contruction work outside. Clearly not in the hostels power to change much about that though. Can't really think of anything that could be changed to improve.

Pros: I felt very comfortable staying here, the staff were warm and friendly, the facilities & location were great and the common areas were relaxing

Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable
