Heidi's Inn

Pros: The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Nice Continental breakfast.

Pros: Jennifer was very welcoming. The surrounds of the Inn's small apartments were beautiful.

Delightful place to stay with friendly staff

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and made our stay feel very relaxed. Despite being alongside a main road, we didn't have a problem with noise from traffic. The garden landscaping was also very nice and our son enjoyed the pool a lot.

Cons: There was a connecting door with the neighbouring room which meant that sound from their room carried into ours more than it normally would.

Perfect for dogs!

Pros: Perfect for an overnight stay with our fur baby. Plenty of grass and places to walk.

Cons: The bed was hard as a rock. Couldn't sleep.

Clean, quiet, interesting inn with character.

Pros: The room was roomy, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: Nothing, we needed a place to sleep on the road and we have stayed there before and it was very good. We like the character of an old country inn as opposed to the sameness of the typical highway hotels which are very good but pretty much the same.

We found this by accident and it was perfect, I would highly recommend it.

Pros: The location was beautiful, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was large and beautifully decorated. Complimentary breakfast was good. The hotel was right next door to a great Mexican restaurant.

Cons: Nothing.

A great location, all day coffee, friendly staff - one could spend a few days here, just relaxing.

Pros: We had a delightful room with a private patio and a very nice view. Staff were superfriendly, breakfast even included hot slow cooker oatmeal. And no problem with including our two bicycles in our room. And we enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool.

Cons: The wifi was a little spotty, perhaps other times it would be more consistent.

Was peaceful, good find for a nice summer weekend. We'll be back!!!

Great place to recover, sleep and carb-load.

Pros: I stayed at Heidi’s Inn as a stop-over on a cycle trip on the Empire State Trail from New York City to Montreal. The hotel offered large, really quiet rooms (despite being near a main road), really comfortable beds, good warm showers and good facilities. Buffet breakfast was a high point - anyone riding the Empire State Trail needs to carb-up every morning, and Heidi’s was great for that. (The desk also recommended a brilliant and very popular Mexican restaurant next door. Food and the setting were perfect. I wasn’t the only cycling guest eating there and we all agreed it was good.)

Cons: Almost everything about the Inn was great. The only thing to warn cyclists about is that the last drag up to the hotel from Brewster itself isn’t that pleasant - it’s really busy - and returning to Brewster for an evening meal isn’t much fun. In addition cycling GPS sends you onto a junction with this busy road where you can only turn right - away from Heidi’s. I found the best way is actually to follow the road traffic then ride up the shoulder.
