Lovely, Welcoming, Family-Friendly Inn Just Outside New York - Can't Wait to Come Back!

Pros: The staff was lovely, as was the room, which was also a great size, plenty of room for 2 adults and a small child. Water pressure was perfect. The building is gorgeous and perfectly air conditioned. Can't wait to come back!

Cons: The only downside is the lack of a kitchen/food service available (aside from breakfast, which was great).

Pros: Chambre confortable et excellents petits-déjeuners personnalisables.

Cons: Nous avons regretté d'être au rez-de-chaussée et surtout la proximité de la route ce qui n'est pas visible sur les photos. Il est difficile pour des personnes peu habituées au bruit d'ouvrir les fenêtres, fenêtres fermées le bruit est acceptable.

Quiet Authentic Gem

Pros: The hotel was absolutely charming. The people who worked there were friendly and solicitous. The place was immaculate. Warm cookies were available! We didn't get to eat the breakfast but they were kind enough to pack us scones to go. Everywhere we wanted to go (restaurants, ice cream, neighboring towns) were all super close. Couldn't say enough nice things. It was a quiet retreat with an updated trendy room. Highly recommend.

Wonderful couple’s weekend getaway

Pros: The room was very clean. The decor was exactly as I have imagined in a Victorian fashion. We had the king bed which is very comfortable. I couldn’t hear any noise from the hallway or next door or foot steps upstairs. The common areas are also very well kept in period furnitures and wood panel walls.
