Lovely Hotel with Welcoming Staff

Pros: The room was spacious, beds comfortable. Ensuite bathroom wonderfully appointed. Tony's Restaurant exceptional. Food was delicious. Breakfast free! Gym bijou size but had what was needed as a minimum

Cons: Our room had a fault with the electrics so we could not turn all of the lights off at night. The electric blinds did not work so we could not open them in the morning. Staff however were very apologetic and I'm sure this was just a fluke. But it did mean our stay was not as comfortable as it could have been. The free Breakfast was OK but a bit basic. I'm sure the Breakfast in Tony's Restaurant would have been excellent we just didn't want to pay extra.

Great location, food, amd spa. The spa, staff, and accommodations excellent

Pros: We enjoyed the pool, spa, and hotel accommodations. We had donner at Tonys food amd service were excellent. We went over to the bar, same drink menu, the bartenders were ok, it wasn’t very busy, but wait for service and were told the bar closed early. We asked for a beverage to take to the room at 11:30, but they declined. “ they had already cleaned”. Overall it was a great experience

When I go back to CT I will be staying at the JHouse.

Pros: A lot of the details at the J House were beyond my expectations. The auto-black out curtains, the Japanese toilet, the mirrored television. All of the design details made the room feel very contemporary and super functional. The pool is beautiful. I have stayed in hotels across the world and sometimes the pool area feels like an afterthought. The JHouse pool is a proper pool and pool area. The people who worked there were responsive, professional and friendly.
