Pros: The room was big and the beds comfortable. It was very quiet, in general. There was fresh fruit (not just apples) at breakfast and they had gluten free bread!

Pros: Very beautiful hotel, every detail is thoughtfully designed, we loved our room, beds were comfortable, shower great, we had everything we needed. Delicious full breakfast with plenty of choice. We highly recommend :)

Great place with a dog

Pros: Quiet location. Nice grounds. Spacious and well furnished room. Ideal with a dog and a large crate.

Cons: Nothing really. Coffee could be a tad stronger :-)

Decent hotel with good breakfast

Pros: Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff.

Cons: Some noise at night from music coming from people in their car at the parking lot. Fortunately it stopped in time.

Good value accommodation with facilities which increase in value during hot weather.

Pros: The pool was very welcome given the hot weather during our stay and the tavern adjacent to the hotel meant we did not have to drive anywhere for dinner.

Cons: The decor was dark and a little dated but it was acceptable and this did not detract from our pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel shame about the check in experience.

Pros: The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Traditional decor and large rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. Very friendly staff in the bar/restaurant and breakfast room.

Cons: The male receptionist who checked us in was very unwelcoming. No hello or greeting upon arrival. To the point of being actually curt and rude. We were given minimal information. When we came to get some water from reception we were made to feel like a hindrance. As first impression went it wasn’t good. Thankfully the other staff made up for it.
