Hilton Garden Inn Shelton

Pros: The lounge area was quaint and the lady tending bar while we were there was amazing, friendly and funny. Waffles were very tasty at breakfast!

Cons: The breakfast waiter we had 3 mornings in a row was not skilled at her job in any sense of the word. I feel awful saying that because maybe she was just doing the best she could but I do not think that specific job is best suited for her. The coffee pots were empty every single morning that are located in the breakfast area. We waited for about 10 minutes while we ordered breakfast the first morning but had to ask the front desk clerk to get somebody from the kitchen to replenish the carafes. Another guest asked the second morning and we asked again the 3rd day. I would have gladly had a tea instead but there wasn't any hot water either.

Pros: The breakfast was good, my husband had breakfast I didn't. The staff was so friendly and nice and helpful loved them! Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. My husband was in the hot tub he loved that. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: Room was very clean and the floor I stayed on was very quiet.

Cons: Room key did not work, had to go back down stairs I asked the front desk to find out why my room key was not working she stated that she didn't know. She gave me a new key but I felt that her response was not helpful she gave me the impression that I was disturbing her.

Except for the pool floor tiles, everything was great.

Pros: Delicious, hot and cold as expected, large variety. Gentleman managing was very nice and professional.

Cons: The floor tiles around the pool are slippery. I was very surprised such slick tiles were used. I think it presents a potential slip and fall hazard.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Comfortable beds. Even though we hated paying for our breakfast, Chris was super.

Cons: We had to pay for breakfast. Most hotels have it for free .

Best hotel in Shelton CT

Pros: Staff is ultra professional and courteous and are generally interested in the well-being of the clients that check into the hotel, which is very rare
