Luxury and convenience at a reasonable price.

Pros: Breakfasts were, as usual, excellent. Dietary needs were attended to. Staff were cordial and helpful. Location is perfect--walking distance to Mass MOCA, and the Clark Institute is a short drive away. Pool, sauna, and hot tub are wonderful luxuries. Porches is our go-to mini-vacation spot.

Pros: Unpretentious and “homey” yet well done with nice amenities and a higher end feel. Enjoyed the hot tub on cold evenings. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Fridge stocked with beer and wine I would actually drink if in the mood. Staff friendly. Well done.

Cons: Consider an upgrade for the lounge if practicable. However, there was nothing that I didn’t like.

Für Nostalgie-Fans ist es das Richtige.

Pros: Rustikales Ambiente. Das Haus erzählt Geschichte. Auch die ganze Einrichtung ist detailreich und liebevoll gestaltet. Trotzdem sind die Betten bequem und alles ordentlich sauber. Das Frühstückbuffet ist mit frisch zubereiteten und reichlichen Speisen ausgestattet.

Cons: Die Treppe in die obere Etage zu unserem Zimmer war ausserordentlich steil. Es hat keinen Lift. Mit Gepäck hinauf oder hinunter zu steigen doch sehr anspruchsvoll.
