Peaceful stay

Pros: Lovely building full of character. Nice spaces to use downstairs to relax, and outdoor swimming pool, parking, and a 15 minute walk (bear in mind some of this is on verges with no pavement) into Wilmington centre. Small bit quality selection of breakfast items. Nice touch with the welcome cookies in the room.

Cons: Not much. Perhaps due to it being a old building, the shower door was quite clunky and shower took a while to set to temperature. Also the door between the bedroom and bathroom isn't particularly thick so not very soundproof. Not a dislike, as it was clear from reading other booking reviews so we were prepared, but as this is an old house, the steps to some of the upstairs rooms are very steep, so consider this if you have mobility issues. This was no problem for us.

Pros: Lovely accommodation - clean, spacious, nice pool outside and lovely hosts

Pros: My daughter loved to play in the swimming pool,my son loved the breakfast ans I loved the overall atmosphere. Perfect stay for us.

Pros: From my phone conversation prior to my arrival all the way up until check out everything was top notch the staff, the amenities, my breakfast, and all of the little details that were put into the nutmeg!!!! Pros: We loved the breakfast! Absolutely delicious, both days. The frittata exceptional, as well as the French Toast. Loved the greens with the frittata as well. Shelley made us delicious cocktails and I have a new gin to try to find here at home…so glad I tried it!

Cons: Our shower could have been a bit cleaner…cobwebby up there! And the shower is dark-ish. Better lighting would be nice in there. Number one dislike was the louvered door to the bathroom from the bedroom. Too much sound emanating…know what I mean? Not the end of the world for couples who have been together a long time…for us, love is relatively new! I like to keep things…um…quiet!

Sherry is very attentive and the premises are very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful.

Pros: Amazing breakfast, excellent location for visiting Green Mountain National Park. The inn is unique and very special. Shelly the host was very kind and helpful. We had a great vacation.
