Lovely hotel in a great location

Pros: Very clean and modern room. Good communication from property. Great location. Amazing bathroom and and double bed.

Cons: The spare bed could have been made up for us before we arrived.

Wonderful hotel, but no staff

Pros: Lovely comfy rooms, beautifully decorated, impeccably clean in a wonderful old building.

Cons: From arrival to departure I never saw a single member of staff, noone to ask for dinner recommendations on arrival. The front door required an entry code which I was never given. We had 2 rooms, and luckily we were able to go in with other guests. My travel companion eventually, later in the evening received an sms with the code but I never received anything.Why this could not be communicated via the app or an email prior to arrival is a mystery.

Good stay.

Pros: This is a beautiful house, stylishly renovated, and very comfortable.

Cons: NO STAFF!!!! We were not sent the access code so we were lucky to get in at all, courtesy of other guests. There was no-one to let us in and we never saw a member of staff at all. A minus also: no breakfast.

Pros: Beautiful building, beautiful, clean room, wonderful location.

Cons: It seems like the trend is to self check in and you allow yourself into your room. Sounds fair enough, but I am really beginning to miss people and the front desk! Staff can greatly enhance a stay and help reflect the essence of a hotel. Our room was front of building, first floor. Outside there were people who sat next to the windows of our room and talked until the wee hours of the morning.

Beautiful period property in a picturesque village!

Pros: The Porch is Beautiful! Easy check in didn’t see any staff but that’s ok I had everything I needed! Fantastic location the village is so cute! Great communal area for working and chilling or reading a book, i had it all to myself and was lovely and peaceful.

Lovely location with great accommodations.

Pros: Perfect location for spending the weekend in Vermont. Great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, etc. Perfect small town friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be returning!

Highly recommend for comfort and location.

Pros: Room was clean and well appointed. Haley was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful with checkin and recommending restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: On a busy day parking for checkin can be a bit confusing.

Pros: Location was excellent, right in town! Close to restaurants.

Cons: After a little initial curfuffle due to the wrong PIN and my lack of a cellphone, everything worked out just great!

Pros: Great place to stay in the heart of Wilmington!! The staff were very helpful and had wonderful suggestions for where to eat and explore. The room was spacious and although it was near the entrance, it was very quiet, especially at night time. The courtyard out back is an added bonus area to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Would definitely stay again! Thanks to James and all the staff!!

Comfortable hotel with historical interest and charm in the center of the town

Pros: Very much keeping to the colonial and historical feel of the era it was established. Interesting history of the hotel and town. Great central location with all that was needed on the doorstep. Staff were very good and very spacious room

Cons: Air conditioner in the room was too fierce for the one bed with vents on the lower wall next to the bed and one directly above the bed. If we were to stay again would insist on another room.
