Comfortable Historic Inn with helpful staff.

Pros: Historic Inn with large, comfortable room with King bed and electric fireplace/heater. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with lots of windows. Good location near Manchester, Vermont, and road to Mt Equinox. Staff were helpful.

Cons: Small bathroom with sink in room, but that is the one we chose. Surprisingly not inconvenient.

Staying at the Arlington Inn made us feel that the real world was far away, so a perfect week getawa

Pros: We found the B&B charming especially the gazebo. The parlor in the main house was a quiet place for reading and always available. Our room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the solarium where we ate so pretty. And the staff was wonderful -- helpful, friendly and, in the case of Emma, knowledgeable about local history at the level of a professor. I learned so much and, because of her recommendation we went to Bennington on our way home. I love learning American history this way.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of anything important. If pressed, I would say, we noticed a lot of good restaurants were closed on Sundays and Mondays, which was disappointing.

Would stay again but not 3 in a room really best for 2.

Pros: The historic property in a quiet, very New England village. The breakfast was wonderful served in a sunny day room!

Cons: The pullout bed was not comfortable.
