Beautiful place with friendly staff, great food and great hiking around

Pros: Very welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful location with many places to sit and relax outside looking at the beautiful scenery. Great breakfast, and we also loved the friendly cats and alpakkas.

Perfect place to stay in New England

Pros: Just what we needed to unplug and relax. Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and a calmed environment. The place is just perfect and very cozy. The room was spotless, and the fireplace in the main building amazing. We spent a weekend with our son, and enjoyed feeding the alpacas and visiting the farms nearby. We'll be back!

Stunning location for visiting Vermont!

Pros: Lovely location, very quiet and calm. Simply beautiful landscape. Cozy and clean room. We loved the living room and the billiard room as well! Breakfast was delicious. Farm cats were really affectionate and cute.

Cons: Room could have been warmer. Not so easy to find a near restaurant during workdays in the off-season, but eventually every spot for dinner we found was nice.

Pros: This is an absolutely beautiful inn. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff was lovely and so helpful. The room we stayed in was perfect. My kids loved the alpacas and their two farm cats. The restaurant on site was delicious and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The made eggs, waffles, french toast to order. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Cons: The pool could have been open a little longer. I'm not sure what time it opened but it was definitely after 11 am (might have even been after noon) and it closed at 7 pm.

Pros: We visited this property during winter with my spouse, and it was truly an unforgettable stay. Our room had a cozy fireplace which made for the perfect winter retreat, and there were even two very friendly resident cats - such a pleasant surprise! The overall cleanliness and amenities really stood out, and our room was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. While the price felt a bit on the higher side, we found the experience worth it given the top-notch service and warm atmosphere. The breakfast was decent, though it didn't quite reach the same high standard as the rest of the stay. Still, the little details - from the plush bedding to the thoughtful touches in the common areas - made our visit exceptional. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable getaway and don’t mind spending a bit more, I highly recommend this property.
