Travelodge by Wyndham Great Barrington Berkshires

Pros: Location. The staff were excellent and very helpful. There was a problem with my booking which they alerted me to, we were able to resolve the issue upon our arrival. The management were both helpful and understanding. Punal provided me with additional information about the area and some tips on best times to book future visits to the area. The room was very well taken care of, very clean and comfortable. The area was close to the venue we were attending that night

Cons: We found the cost for the room to be exceptionally high for what it was. That being said, other hotels in the area were dramatically inflated that night due to high demand. As explained to us, if we booked a different night we would find the same room considerably cheaper. There was no bath and the shower was very small and cramped, fortunately I am small otherwise this would have been a concern. There was a child running up and down the outside area on the second level quite early in the morning...a real thumper!

This is an older property, but don’t let the age and the reasonable price scare you away.

Pros: It was very clean and everything worked properly. Obviously the owner ensures that regular maintenance is completed.

Cons: I have bad knees, so climbing steps to the second floor wasn’t the most fun.

Great value and nice stay in heart of Great Barrington MA.

Pros: There was no breakfast, only coffee in the office.

Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff made it better to handle the high price.

The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming and the bed was so comfortable and the linens so clean and fresh!

Pros: It was conveniently located to stores, restaurants.

It was a clean and comfortable place in the perfect place to visit many Berkshire and relatives..

Pros: Vey comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: More pillows. A space to hang up clothing

We only stayed overnight but were very satisfied with the suite of rooms

Pros: suite we stayed in, 301, is very spacious with a large living area, big bathroom with shower/bath with water jets, big bedroom and new appliances -- the refrigerator was brand new. The suite was very private in a separate small building with a few other suites. The rooms were adjacent to route 7 -- the main thoroughfare -- but sound proofing was adequate.

Cons: I would have preferred more storage area -- a closet or two and a dresser with draws would be very welcome.

Pros: Price, AC, fridge was important. Generally comfortable. Family run and friendly.

Cons: Shower head needed work.
