Great value and friendly

Pros: We were just up in town to get a dog from a local rescue so wanted something easy and affordable and this was perfect. It was your classic roadside motel that you don't see much of anymore. The owners were very nice, check in and check out was simple. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Cons: The no 24 hour cancel option. The possibility of not being able to pick up that dog did exist and I had to travel over 4 hours to get there so had something happened I would not have made the trip and would have been out the money.

Excellent stay in a clean quiet motel. Perfect for our needs.

Pros: We appreciated the large room, comfortable bed, dual end tables, and electric fireplace, which was especially cozy on the rainy night and day of our visit. The decor could be updated and there was a loose tile at the entry to the bathroom, but overall, Sara Glen Motel is an excellent value and we highly recommend it.

Great experience & immaculately clean.

Pros: We traveled for events Saturday and Sunday.... this was perfectly located to them. The hotel was absolutely clean. Greeted upon arrival with professionalism and offers for restaurants for breakfast. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Pros: I just stayed for a quick overnight stay. Room was really clean. Surprisingly quiet at night for being so close to Route 9. Really comfortable bed. The shower was great! Unlimited hot water, great pressure, and the shower head was high enough for someone that is over 6 feet tall. The furniture has seen better days but there were no weird smells and I slept really well. A larger TV would be a good idea when they update the decor, but I had no problem watching several episodes of Law & Order. I’d stay here again.

Pros: Location was very convenient, just south of Glens Falls on Rt 9. Could not hear any traffic from the room, we were there for a weekend and it was well occupied but still quiet. Bed was comfy, had fridge and microwave, ample towels, great shower pressure, simply but nicely decorated. Beautiful setting with trees and garden, very well kept and clean. No pool so no screaming kids! If you’re looking for an economical motel that is quiet, comfortable and pleasant, I highly recommend it!

Safe and clean.

Pros: It's cute and it's clean. A perfectly good place to stay. The owner gave us water, which was kind given that it was a hot day. Yeah, it was a good, clean safe place.

Cons: There are fake fireplaces in the rooms, which are probably supposed to convey coziness, but mine made a clicking noise all night, which kept me awake. And who wants a fake fireplace when it's 80 outside anyways? It's a fine place, but that fake fireplace thing was annoying, and I didn't get much sleep. I guess I could have got up and unplugged it or something.
