Birches Motel

It was a good choice for getting to the racetrack which is why we chose it. I would go there again.

Pros: The location was great for getting to Saratoga Racetrack. The Mexican restaurant/diner on one side was delicious and there's a nice Deli on the other side which was also good. CVS across the street. Lots of nearby conveniences. There is no human being on site to check in with, so that was a bit surprising. A code is texted to your phone to get into the room. There was a slight glitch upon arrival, but there is a phone number to call and a live person answered and squared everything away. I would go there again. It's old school sixties-looking, but I like that. There's a charging station for electric vehicles too.

Cons: I'm not sure that I am all about contactless entry/ no one on site. It is something I am not used to.

Pros: Location was perfect an inexpensive, it fit our needs to a tee.

Cons: No curtains in bathroom and floors were cold.

Pros: They were able to accommodate a cancellation even though their policy didn’t allow. Greatly appreciated, thank you very much

Great location, great breakfast, amazing value !

Pros: It was so cute, easy self check in and check out and the room was clean/ bed was comfortable. It was much closer to downtown than we expected (by car 5-10 minutes!) the breakfast sandwich at the deli next door is a MUST. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again ourselves :)

Cons: the front blinds have little gaps on the side so people can kind of see through them

Great reunion weekend

Pros: The rooms were clean and modern and comfortable. Close to Saratoga and anything you need to get to in the area...and the complementary breakfast sandwich and coffee at the deli next store is a bonus!

The Birches Motel is a hidden gem !

Pros: Check in process was digital and very easy. Room was very clean. Office open 24/7 for any additional items needed (pillows, towels, etc). The Birches provided coupons for free breakfast sandwiches at two local establishments that were within walking distance of the propery.

Cons: water pressure in shower could have been better.

Pros: We try to get up to Saratoga Springs for the August Horse Racing Meet every year and have stayed in all kinds of locations in and around Saratoga. Birches checked all the boxes for a great value and convenience to Downtown Saratoga with Breakfast Sandwiches & Coffee at the Deli next door..We will be back.

Pros: Updated rooms, reasonable priced, not too far from SPAC. The free breakfast sandwiches from Cannones deli the next morning were delicious.

It was great dogs friendly accommodations and reasonably priced for prime time Saratoga racing.

Pros: Free breakfast sandwiches at deli next door are great! The owner Jacob was wonderful and helped us get early check in so we could drop off our dog and get her all settled and make it to the horse races at Saratoga.
