Short stay in Brookling
Pros: Private bathroom, bedroom comfort and size, breakfast (not super various but better than nothing). The metro is not close but also not so far by walking.

Good stay
Pros: This was our second time there and almost all was like a few years ago. Although it is an old hotel and far from city center it is cheap and you have bus just around the corner and Subway station 10 minutes from hotel. The woman who did us the check in around 9pm and the girl from the check out were very friendly. And they spoke Spanish which is helpful. Also the guy from the evening before 10 pm. Very smiley all the time. They get you a taxi for the airport and you have it in 5 minutes. We also liked that you can leave your luggage after check out so you can explore the city for the last time. We like that you have kitchen in the room so you can prepare easy meals or enjoy the breakfast there. There are 2 supermarkets close to the hotel so you can buy a few things if you need them. Overall, good stay. If we return to NY we will choose Pointe Plaza.
Cons: Poor breakfast. A few years ago there were more options including croissants and you could prepare your own bagel or toast. They didn't clean the room after the first night so we had to request towels and shower gel at reception. The last day they didn't do the room very well but they left clean towels so we didn't say anything. Also the tv is old and not smart tv so you can't lay in bed and watch streaming after a long day in the city. Another thing we didn't like is the shower head on the wall. It is a bit of a hassle to take a shower if you don't want to wash your hair. They should improve with a shower head with stripe.

Pros: Great location for exploring Brooklyn, subway around 15-20 mins walk. Approx a 40 minute walk into Dumbo by the front. Lots going on !!!
Cons: The area around the hotel is full of rubbish and quite dirty, but this didn't bother us much.

Clean comfortable accommodating close to transport links
Pros: The staff were beyond helpful at all times. Fidel was our main point of contact and was so very thoughtful. He upgraded our room to a larger suite so we had a bed each as well as a kitchen area. The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast is simple, two cereal options, bagels with choice of toppings prepared by a lovely lady. Very basic provisions on a Saturday for breakfast as it’s the Sabbath. Area is not the quietest as it’s New York and they do like using their car horns. Two subway stations within a 10 minute or so walk. Lots of places to eat and drink within about 10-30 minute walk. Thank you to the team.

Pros: The hotel staff is very kind, very helpful. They cleaned our room every day, they brought fresh new towels, new soaps etc. every day. After checking out, they allowed us to keep our luggages there, while we had our last program in Manhattan. We were really keen on the freshly toasted bagels with creams in the morning made to go.
Cons: The breakfast could have a bit more variety (vegetables, butter, salami or ham, eggs and cheese).

Clean and comfortable hotel in a nice neighborhood
Pros: Clean facilities, nice safe location, easily accessible public transit, and a cultural experience in its own right. Heartily recommend and can't wait to stay here again.

Wouldn’t book again but it was ok!
Pros: The room had even more that was needed - including full kitchen-style furniture that I just wouldn’t use. It was clean and spacious, I loved the bathtub and the staff was nice and friendly.
Cons: The location isn’t that great, you’ll have to walk at least 15 minutes to the nearest tube on loud and filthy streets.
