Sheraton Brooklyn New York

Pros: View of Statue of Liberty; Comfortable and clean; close to subway.

Good base for a few days

Pros: Good location, plenty of transport options and shops nearby. 30mins to mid town Manhattan by subway. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot drink maker and fridge allowed for tea, coffee and keeping water chilled. Clean bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of toiletries and towels. Heating was adjustable - we switched it off and the room was quieter and a comfortable temperature.

Cons: Basin hot tap was defective and repair didn't happen while we were there but we just used the cold tap instead.

Loved Brooklyn.

Pros: Lovely coffee in room, clean and spacious. The gym was good, although equipmemt working was hit and miss. Staff were friendly and approachable, especially the person who dealt with luggage. Location was great for several different subway lines.

Cons: Had a swimming pool, but wasn't open for guests.

Pros: This was a great value hotel for what we paid especially considering it was peak season. We stayed for 6 nights and the room was clean, comfortable, elegant and had everything you needed. But the bonus was looking out the window on the first morning and in the distance could see the Statue of Liberty! As a first timer to NY from Australia this was greatly appreciated! The location was excellent for subway access. Lastly, if you go, dont miss buying a slice from the Little Pizza Parlour just 30 metres away. It was the best we had in NY.

Cons: Icemaker on another floor.

Brooklyn Sheraton experience

Pros: Generally everything from the location, rooms , elevators, housekeeping very sweet ladies .

Cons: Reception gents need to be more receptive during arrival of guests and regularly at all instances

Pros: Room The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. The bed was comfortable and the room felt spacious compared to other NYC hotels I’ve stayed at. Location The location was excellent. The hotel is just a short walk from the subway, which made getting there from JFK very easy and getting into Manhattan or other NYC neighborhoods quick and convenient. I really enjoyed staying in downtown Brooklyn—it felt less touristy, calmer, and more relaxing than Manhattan. There were plenty of affordable food options nearby, plus a supermarket right across the street. Breakfast I didn’t extensively use the breakfast options, but having food available on-site was convenient.

Pros: Location was great, staff very friendly. Beds were very comfortable (family room) and we slept well.

Cons: We had a few things that didn't work - the air con/heat, and one of the lights and it took a while to get them fixed. The bathroom was pretty tired and worn out but it did work at least.

Handy location in Brooklyn

Pros: We thought the location was fabulous with 3 subway stations at a walking distance. You can be in Manhattan in about 20minutes. The room was comfortable and quiet which was unexpected in a busy city.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Location was close to subway and the bed was comftable

Cons: Bodywash in bathroom was just for one day
