Perfect for a quick stay for a local event on a snowy evening.

Pros: Because it snowed overnight, a member of the Inn staff shoveled my car out as an unrequested but truly appreciated service.

A nice stay between two visits.

Pros: Clean, safe, comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Recommended good bfast place nearby.

Cons: Handicap accessible shower could use safety bar to grip.

Very comfortable king size mattress and overall quiet, peaceful rest in a lovely room.

Pros: No breakfast offered, however the coffee offered in the room was very good. We appreciated that it was a regular drip maker instead of a k-pod. We also appreciated that there were trash and recycling waste containers in our room.

Cons: The room AC unit was a little bit noisy (rattled) when it cycled into cooling

Pros: Quiet location, clean room, friendly staff, and the best value out of any hotels I’ve stayed at while visiting Portland/Middletown area.

Pros: Great economy inn in the country of Connecticut. Located on a main road that serves as a thoroughfare to many CT towns. The room is spacious with a small kitchenette (microwave, sink, and mini-fridge) and two bottled waters upon arrival. It also had soaps, one lotion, dish soap, and one bottle of shampoo. Windows that open for fresh air, but high enough that you don't have to worry about a security issue. Friendly staff who greet you and very accommodating in terms of late check ins. We arrived around 10:20 pm. Also want to note that my husband needed to be in a neck brace and check-in staff offered to help with luggage and were very attentive to opening doors. I would definitely stay here again for the price offered.

Very clean, large & comfortable room, quiet, and great value.

Pros: The Solano Inn is a motel that has been really nicely redone and modernized. The view in the back is lovely - woods and a small pond. The rooms are large and comfortable. We appreciated that we could open the window to let in fresh air. The place is very quiet. And we also were grateful to be able to include our dog.

Cons: There was no conditioner and no airdryer in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have both!
