Howard Johnson by Wyndham Rocky Hill

Great staff!

Pros: Great staff! I’ve arrived without much expectations, but right away I was blown away by the kindness of the manager! The place is well located, clean and organised! I felt welcomed right away! Also, I have a service dog, who was as welcomed as I was!

Cons: It’s not the property’s fault, but there were much smokers and I do hate cigars of any kind!

10/10 would book again

Pros: The manager was excellent. Gave me and my fiancé the same room we got engaged in. Customer service is top notch. And the rooms are cleaned perfectly

Massively exceeded our expectations

Pros: We stayed here while attending the Travellers tournament and found the location fantastic and the hotel brilliant for what we needed. It was clean, the staff were super friendly and the rooms spacious with excellent air conditioning. Thanks for having us!

Pros: Clean, parking space in front of the room, close (walking distance) to shops and restaurants, very convenient location if you have to hit the road early in the morning.

Pros: Peter, the manager, always takes good care of us. This was especially the case this time since I had to change my dates twice due to weather and other issues.

Cons: The room price was higher than usual, likely due to Spring Break.

REAL cleanliness, not just superficial. Good location, good price, comfortable, functional.

Pros: There was an element of REAL to this hotel that is utterly absent from the local chain motels that feel plastic-y, faux, corporate. This Howard Johnson's was NOT that. It was genuinely CLEAN (not superficially), everything worked and it was quiet.

Cons: It's not that I didn't like it, but it's not a cookie cutter perfect hotel. The exterior and some of the common interior spaces seem a little eclectic but that is part of its charm. So I can't really say I didn't like it, but I did observe that it might need a few repairs to the common spaces. Room was great, again SUPER CLEAN.

Clean, convenient location to all, quiet, friendly, affordable!

Pros: Room was super clean; fridge and microwave; TV; many pillows of various thicknesses to choose from! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will return again. Thank you!

Cons: Could have used area carpets - floors were cold! Bring slippers or socks!

The gentleman at the front desk is very friendly, and the room is quiet and comfortable.

Pros: I like it, but it’s just this time around that I noticed that the shower wasn’t clean at all, but I used some soft scrub and clean the bottom of the tub a little so I can stand in it.

Cons: No problem
