Best Western Roslyn-Long Island Hotel

Pros: Love a Holiday Inn Express and didn't disappoint

Pros: Everything about the hotel itself was satisfactory

Cons: The staff were very rude and unhelpful. We traveled from uk to New York to attend a wedding. We stayed in Manhattan and traveled to Roslyn on the day of the wedding. We got off the train at Roslyn in the pouring rain and no Internet so had to walk roughly 2 miles. We got to the hotel and asked if we could check in early to leave our bag and freshen up. We got told it was $60 for early check in but the room wasn’t ready. We asked if we could freshen up anywhere and got told no. We asked if we could pay for breakfast as we were cold and wet he kindly agreed so we had breakfast got internet and left taking our luggage with us to the wedding. We got dressed in a rest room. We also told him we wouldn’t check in till after midnight as we were at the wedding. We went to check in after midnight and there were two females in reception who again were very rude. They asked for identification which we didn’t have as we weren’t told to bring it and got told we needed it to check in. We told them we just wanted to go to bed as we were up early In the morning to travel back to Manhattan. After a while they let us check in but I thought we paid a lot of money to sleep in a hotel room with rude people not giving a good service

Overall it was great! Friendly staff, good location, great free breakfast options! I’ll be back!

Pros: Close to where I was attending an event. Friendly staff, great breakfast choices offered for the free breakfast. The attendant was managing the food and all options were available.

Cons: My only issue was finding the parking lot under the hotel. A very narrow one way enter/exit. I was lucky enough to get one of the last parking spots when I returned from my event at midnight. It wouldn’t prevent me from staying there again in the future.

Pros: This place is the CLEANEST hotel ive ever been to. VERY nice staff! Very nice to have a parking enclosure. Price was reasonable. Nice diner within walking distance that's open later than the restaurants. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel ❣️

Una estancia bonita y tranquila.

Pros: Muy bien la habitación y muy acogedora la cama. La atención del personal es excelente. Es bueno para ir por unos días. El pueblo es muy bonito y organizado. Tiene mucha vegetación, las personas son muy amables. Quedan plazas comerciales cerca y rutas de buses le pasan al frente. En el hotel se preocupan por la limpieza e higiene.

Cons: Debimos pagar algo mas, debido a que no reconocieron la reservación tal cual la habíamos contemplado y por la que pagamos.

Primera vez que reservamos el lugar excelente ubicación

Small Hotel Room in great location

Pros: Was newly remodeled. Had free breakfast in the morning with a lot of great choices of items to eat.

Cons: They placed someone in the room above me who paced all night long and kept me awake. The waffle maker was out of order. On check out day the key card didn't work at 10:00 am even though check out was at 11:00. Had the cleaning lady let me back in. Otherwise everything else was fine.

I Would Like To Book Again With Compensation Of Some Sort Along With Different Guest Reception.

Pros: I Liked The Fact That It Was In A Decent Location And The Hospitality Was Above Par. The Room Was Clean Upon Arrival And Upon Departure. The View Was Decent. I Liked The Stairs That Led To The Ice Machine. AC & TV Was Working. Hot Water And A Clean Bathroom With Clean Linen. Would Definitely Stay Again Providing That Myself Or Any Other Client Have To Deal With The Guest Reception “ Mr. Al’s ” Unprofessional Behavior Which Isn’t Kosher For The Nature Of Hospitality.

Cons: I Didn’t Like The Fact That “ Mr. Al” Was Rude & Nonchalant To My Guest’s Request For Ice. The Fact That My Room ( 326 ) Received A Noise Complaint When We Remained Quiet After Our 1st Disagreement. We Didn’t Complain Of Any Other Residents Along With Early Checkout. I Assumed We Would Depart On A Good Note But “ Mr. Al ” Seemed To Have A Hidden Agenda To Overcharge Me Due To His Personal Beliefs About Me Unbeknownst To Me.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was typical for most hotels, the coffee was much better than most! Clean area and they were very attentive to the replacing of food as it ran low. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Pros: Property was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good (the eggs could have been better)
