Pros: Front desk staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and bedding was comfortable

Cons: Free breakfast had everything that you need---I just prefer fresh scrambled eggs instead of reheated omelets.

Pros: Location was great both to reach NYC central as well Long Island beach. But 100 points goes to personel at reception as they were so helpful, friendly and smiling that I have not seen such team before !

the best Queens hotel by far

Pros: This is a great hotel, it has the feel of an old family run inn and it’s really down to the staff who go above and beyond in a very authentic way. great free breakfast, good size pool, comfortable beds, it’s quiet, there is coffee and water available all day, there is a little snack shop, there is a laundry — it had everything you need and is in a great area

A great stay marred by a distasteful upcharge.

Pros: Over all the hotel was clean and modern, and the room was spacious and well appointed.

Cons: I really had no issues at all with the hotel or my room, so I cannot offer any recommendations on that. The staff were all friendly and professional, from the front desk to housekeeping. On the other hand, I strongly disliked the $10 parking fee. I have paid it in urban hotels, but in the suburbs no one is walking or taking public transit to arrive. I’d rather you just raise the rates of the rooms by $10. It would be more honest. Instead they ask or inform me at check in as if I have a choice to refuse. It’s insulting to offer the illusion of choice when in practical terms there isn’t one. It’s no different than a “convenience charge” which is convenient for the business who is collecting it, but not the consumer who pays it. It left a sour taste after what was an otherwise excellent stay.

Enjoyed my stay

Pros: Location was easy to get to. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room clean, comfortable, and just what I needed.

Cons: Didn’t have enough room for my clothing/no dresser.

Cons: Pool was small and no proper changing facilities but I was the only one in it so was fine.
