Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica

Pros: The food in the restaurant was delicious with the exception of the Greek salad. It hardly had any feta cheese on it and that's what makes the salad. Otherwise it was good. Server was excellent.

Cons: Cleaning staff very slow. It was almost 3pm before they got to our room. By then, we were back in our room to get ready to go for dinner, rest and change. Would have been nice to have a small table and chairs in the room also. No bath mat in the tub and felt it was a little unsafe.

Great TV! - clean spacious room

Pros: Very friendly, cool retro architecture, close to everything. Beds were comfortable. Room was small but cozy. All the staff were great!

Cons: The pool was freezing and there was hair and debris on the pool deck both days we went so no one was cleaning it. The restaurant was out of half n half for coffee during our whole stay! Definitely don't pay for breakfast, it was ok for free. The room didn't have enough towels, toilet paper, or soap. Cheap things for the hotel that would have made a huge difference in comfort!

Pros: The staff was great the food in the bar was fantastic

Cons: That they didn't clean our rooms or make beds between nights

Pros: Property was close to where I needed to be. Amenities offered met expectations.

Pros: Pool, room, lobby all very clean. The breakfast was amazing, great selection.

Cons: Waitress staff wasn’t the nicest. Sat down to fix my shoe they asked me to find somewhere else to sit if I wasn’t a customer. There was no lie or even anyone looking for a table.

Nice stay

Pros: Nice friendly staff. Was convenient for what we were doing. (The zoo) We took our 4 year old granddaughter with us. Booked for the indoor pool, which was perfect . Was nice that there were some bands there. We all enjoyed the music. Beds and pillows were comfortable. (Nice touch with the water bottles in the room)

Superior staff amidst a snowstorm

Pros: The room was good sized and the bed was comfortable. The hotel's staff was outstanding. I was able to extend my room stay so that my friend who was snowed in did not end up in the cold. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, making arrangements without any issue. The cleaning staff was very good too, as they quickly responded to as concern my colleague had regarding a stain on the bathroom door.

Cons: All things considered, I felt that the Booking.com price was high. My original two-night stay in downtown Utica was roughly $500. Given when I booked, I thought I'd be able to get a better price. I also found the cost for snacks to be exorbitant. I bought a small container of cranberry juice and two cookies and it cost me $5.25! I should have stocked up at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, or Family Dollar before heading to Utica!

A wonderful downtown hotel with upscale amenities

Pros: Loved the close proximity to the Stanley Theatre!!! The staff were absolutely amazing too, very friendly and welcoming.

Good place to stay in Utica for its convenience and comfort

Pros: Staff members are very friendly and helpful. The room setting is simple, comfortable and effective. Excellent coffee service in room.

Cons: The common facility is grand but not easy for solo or small group to enjoy. The amenities in the room could be a little more, i.e. slippers for using after shower.
